The Lasgidi Farmer Podcast
We want to say a big thank you to Thara Aisha Atta@Atta_ched, Founder & CEO @TrashformasNigeria for the deeply enriching insights she shared on The Lasgidi Farmer Podcast, that would enable listeners have a good understanding about valuable use of agricultural waste and biogas (the need, mechanics and opportunities).
These thought-provoking and forward-thinking submissions from her caught our attention:
👉 "Food waste should not be the primary reason for wanting to transform waste and create infrastructure for such, this is good, but should be of agricultural waste -crop residue, animal excreta -seeing it as resource, always produced. This is the better approach and is more sustainable."
👉 "Public-private collaboration is crucial to biogas development. However, other than waiting for the private sector to act and pursuing international partnership, the government could pursue partnerships with local institutions, researchers and leverage academic researches. This is cost-effective, and ensures locally-adaptive, impactful and sustainable solutions.
The conversation is now out and available to listen. Make sure you don't miss, it gives a novel and refreshing insights about biogas.
