I’m Brett, and this channel is dedicated to the "Hidden Gems" of gaming, retro collecting, and honest discussions about the state of the industry. Whether I'm deep-diving into why the Switch 2 is a physical collector's dream or highlighting obscure RPGs like 3D Dot Game Heroes and Tokyo Mirage Sessions, my goal is to keep the focus on fun and passionate game design.
We don’t just follow the hype here—we look for the weird, the niche, and the genuinely great experiences that often get overlooked. From physical media advocacy to "Great Reset" industry takes, I’m all about protecting the hobby we love.

Nintendo once let Rare turn a cute squirrel platformer into an M rated swearing, drinking mess. Conker's Bad Fur Day, N64, 2001. It started life as a cute kids game, then Rare retooled it for adults, and somehow it still came out on a Nintendo console. What is the most out of place game you have ever seen on a Nintendo system?

A bullet hell shooter where you win by growing carrots. Air Hares hits Switch on October 29. You play a rabbit pilot, you dodge enemy fire, and your actual mission is to plant and water carrot fields and save the warren. I love when a game commits to a bit this hard. What is the weirdest game premise you have ever actually enjoyed?

Got a lot of questions on my Hyperion 3 Ultra review about how it compares to the base 3, so I'm posting a full comparison video this Wednesday to help you pick the right one for you. Keep an eye out for it.
Also, an extra accessory you will need for a crazy deep discount toward the end of the vid.
Also, NYXI just increased the discount on my code from $20 to $25 off orders over $89, so it's a good time to grab one if you've been waiting.

Also! How are we liking my thumbnails these days? I decided to stick to a format and they’re fun to make! No more ai assistance. Just me… and my editing software.
It is kinda funny how going handmade vs AI assisted has somehow skewered my views.

It appears my Halloween horror series didn’t appeal too much as some of the worst performing videos.
So I’ll ask the community.
Shall I steer clear of recommendation videos with a theme? *poll below*
I understand the “make what you want” advice but growth comes with doing what the audience wants. So!
Hit me up in the comments what you want more of!
Also I went faceless… I’ll prob go back to being on camera, feels less connected

Big thanks to @StealthHacker. for finding the commercial I thought was wiped from the internet, finally bringing an end to 30ish years of thinking I was crazy.
