I said this in 2020 and I’m saying it again. The government needs to let the economy fail. We need a recession. We need unemployment to rise. It’s the only way to hit reset before a new cycle can begin.
The problem is that no government wants to be known for the recession. No government wants to be remembered for people losing jobs. Think about business cycles. As you grow, you have bloat. Under performers, inefficient systems and poor service/products. Without a reset, the business can never focus on improving processes because they are too busy fulfilling demand.
The benefit of having this mindset is that there is an opportunity either way. A win. If the market resets, you know it’s healthier and you can buy cheaper assets. If the government intervenes and stimulates the economy, asset holders have asset prices increase and that means more equity.

From earning $55,000 a year to owning three investment properties worth almost $1.9 million. 🤯
When Hanette moved to Australia, she was on a sponsored visa. She bought her first investment property at 31, and just two and a half years later, she's built a portfolio with roughly $600K–$700K in equity.
And here's what's crazy. It costs her around $60 a week to hold the entire portfolio, while she's still renting in Sydney and travelling.
We break down exactly how she did it, the strategy behind her purchases and what she's planning next. Watch the full pod now 👇

Everyone's waiting for prices to drop. Many won't be in a position to buy when they do.
Frank, Tynan and I unpack what investors are doing as sentiment turns, review a $5.14M portfolio that's run out of borrowing capacity, and look at whether paying down the home loan beats investing.
Episode 2 of the WealthStacker Podcast is live. Watch it here 👇

Lots of people are waiting for property prices to drop before they buy.
Here’s what they’re missing. Rates are going up, so borrowing capacity is going down. Prices could fall and you still might not be able to buy.
If your goal is to retire early and reach financial freedom with property, waiting for the perfect price isn’t a plan. A strategy is.

There’s a lot of noise around property right now.
Prices, interest rates, borrowing capacity, whether to buy now or wait.
The bigger question is: what makes sense for your position?

Most people aren’t stuck because they don’t want to invest.
They’re stuck on the strategy.
Buy now or wait? PPOR or investment? How much cash should you keep? Where should you buy?
You don’t need more noise. You need a clear plan.
If you’re unsure what your next move should be, let’s work it out 👉 bit.ly/4gWs7hs
