I’m learning that showing up doesn’t always mean creating something new.

Sometimes it means recognizing that something I’ve already created may be exactly what someone needs.

And sometimes it means giving myself permission to be quiet without deciding that I’ve somehow abandoned the work.

Rae of Light is still here.

I’m still here.

And I’m learning that I don’t have to force something into existence just to prove it.

Maybe you need that reminder today, too.

**You are allowed to pause without calling it quitting.**

You are allowed to rest without making it mean you’ve lost your way.

And you are allowed to trust that what you’ve already poured out still has somewhere to go.

A little invitation for your Sunday 🤍

I don't have a new Stillness Sunday for you today.
And instead of creating something simply because the calendar says I should, I'm taking a little space to listen, recalibrate, and take care of myself.
But I didn't want to leave you without somewhere to go.


So today, I want to invite you to choose a Stillness Sunday from the library.
Find one that speaks to where you are right now.
Maybe you need peace.
Maybe you need to surrender something.
Maybe you're feeling uncertain.
Maybe you simply need to sit quietly with God.


You don't have to choose the "right" one.
Choose the one that calls to you.
Put your phone down.
Take a breath.
And give yourself permission to be still.

What are you willing to give up about yourself just to be loved?

Sometimes we don't realize what we've given up for love until we're far enough away from the pain to finally see it.

Maybe it wasn't conscious.

Maybe you didn't even know who you were then.

Maybe you were trying to survive, be loved, belong, or keep someone you loved.

And maybe healing is partly learning to see yourself again.

So here's the question I'm sitting with this week:

What have you learned about yourself through your healing that you couldn't see before?

You don't have to have an answer.

Sometimes realizing that you don't know yet is the beginning of becoming aware. 🤍

❤️ **LOVE NOTE #1**

**What God Taught Me About Loving Myself**

For a long time, I didn't really know how to love myself.

Not because I didn't want to.

Life had taught me a lot of things about who I was, and most of them weren't very kind.

I learned to question myself.
I learned to look outside of myself for validation.
I learned to believe that maybe I wasn't enough.

But my relationship with God began to change that.

He began showing me something I had never really understood before:

**I am special.
I am unique.
I am worthy of love.
I am amazing.**

Not because I had finally become perfect.

Not because I had figured everything out.

But because **He created me.**

And the more I came to know God, the more I began to know myself.

That changed everything.

Because when you begin to understand who you are, you start seeing your life differently.

You start giving yourself grace.

You become more compassionate with yourself.

You stop abandoning yourself just to keep someone else happy.

You begin to forgive yourself.

You begin to recognize your own needs.

You begin to understand that peace, confidence, joy, empathy, consideration, and forgiveness aren't just things we receive from other people.

They are also born from the relationship we have with ourselves.

So this morning, I want to leave you with a question:

**What has life taught you about yourself that God may be trying to teach you something different about?**

Don't rush to answer it.

Just sit with it.

Maybe even take a few quiet moments with God and ask Him:

**"God, who am I to You?"**

And then get still enough to listen.

Remember, the goal was never to figure everything out in 72 hours.

The invitation was to **stop going through it alone.**

🌿 My Quiet Reflection 🌿

"When you leave everything in God's hands, you will start to see God in everything."

I don't believe this means life suddenly becomes easy.

It means something inside of us begins to change.

We stop looking for proof that God has abandoned us and begin noticing the quiet ways He's been present all along.

Sometimes His fingerprints aren't found in the answers.

They're found in the strength He gives us while we're waiting.

Peace doesn't come because we finally understand everything.

Peace comes because we begin trusting the One who does.

As we loosen our grip on control, we begin to discover a peace that doesn't depend on having all the answers.

This morning feels different. 🤍

Today, I'm sharing something deeply personal.

Not because my story is extraordinary, but because it's the foundation of why Rae of Light exists.

For years, I thought I was searching for purpose, healing, and confidence.

Looking back, I realize I was discovering the God who had been with me all along.

My prayer is simple...

That if you've ever felt lost, weary, or like there has to be more than simply "doing all the right things," you'll find a little hope in today's message.
