LOOK UP!
God knows the challenges are real, but He never designed you to fix your eyes on them. When you focus on the problem, it gets bigger in your mind. When you focus on Him, the problem gets smaller in His presence.
Scripture backs it up:
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” – Heb 12:2
“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You” – Isa 26:3
Peter walked on water as long as he looked at Jesus. The moment he looked at the wind and waves, he started sinking – Matt 14:29-30
What this looks like practically:
Shift your attention – Start your prayer with who God is before you mention what you’re facing.
Speak His Word over the situation – His Word carries the power to change what you’re seeing.
Trust His track record – He’s been faithful before, He’ll be faithful again.
