Hi all! Welcome to Vintage Ontario.
Over the years, this channel has grown to more than 80,000 subscribers, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support.
Today, Vintage Ontario has evolved into a channel dedicated to original content about the history of Ontario, Canada.
From forgotten places and ghost towns to railway history, historic communities, film history, and the people who shaped our province, I explore the stories that make Ontario’s past so fascinating.
Every video is original and created by me, combining my own filming, research and storytelling to bring these forgotten stories back to life.
My goal is to make history fun, engaging and accessible to everyone.
Thanks for joining me, and welcome to the new Vintage Ontario — where stories come alive!

From an 1877 map to a 1930s topo map, the story of this pioneer lot in Courtice is written in the land itself. While the farmhouse survives, the barn foundation—one of the last visible ties to the families who built this community—might not be here much longer.
I went out to capture what remains before the excavators move in. It’s a quiet, powerful piece of our local roots that deserves a moment of recognition.
See what’s being lost: Will Progress Erase This Pioneer History?
