🎣 Welcome to my channel!
I’m Stu, a UK carp angler balancing a full-time business, three kids, and a passion for fishing some of Europe’s incredible public waters whenever I get the chance.
I started filming to keep myself busy during sessions as I found myself restless and fidgety (lack of patience) and to share the journey with others just for fun (I love watching other videos). I still remember how daunting my first trips to Europe were. I didn’t want all the answers, but a bit of guidance would have made a huge difference.
That’s what I hope this channel does. I won’t give away any venues, but I do believe anglers should help and encourage each other to get out there and create their own adventures, also I’m a fairly average angler, just a little bit fed up with having to ‘slot in’ in the UK.
Expect honest fishing vlogs, big carp, tactics, bait, tackle, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Subscribe and join me on the next adventure! 🎣

Well,
An exciting development
I’ve managed to snatch six more days to finish this year’s adventure in the deepest darkest areas of South France, was working back up towards the north
- 🇫🇷
- 6 days
- November
I have no doubt this is going to be one of the hardest most challenging trips of my fishing life, travelling almost 900 km down the south of France (not the Alps)
I have to say, I am really excited about this trip will be at a short one and a combination of reconnaissance and fishing. I have a couple of fallback venues in case the weather doesn’t work out, the fishing is too busy and so on, but I’m determined and have plotted a route to Head to some awesome looking barrages and try and set myself up with some more mega venues for next year.
My challenge for next year is to catch 3 x 60lbers from three different venues on the public domain list. I feel that’s achievable, not crazy but to do that I do need to fish some different venues offering more intense wild fishing, deeper Reservoirs
I’m mega excited about fishing from the Woods, being entirely remote and challenging myself against things like nuisance species, complete isolation and so on.
I’m hoping to be able to create a couple of films if the fishing goes well, if it doesn’t go so well I will still release a film even if it’s difficult as I’m a big believer in showing the apps and the downs of these adventures, and an adventure is exactly what I’m hoping for

🇫🇷 Something special has happened 👀
Just while I’m sat here in France, a little teaser for those of you that have been kind enough to subscribe and watch my previous video…
This trip wasn’t just about chasing carp—it was even more special because I took my 11-year-old daughter, Imogen 🩷, for her very first taste of fishing France’s incredible public waters. Watching her experience the adventure, the wildlife, the camping and everything that comes with fishing these huge lakes made it a trip I’ll never forget.
And as for me… well… there might just have been a new personal best… 👀???
No venue names. No spoilers. Just an incredible adventure that I can’t wait to share with you all.
🎥 The full video will be landing on YouTube within the next month, and I genuinely think it will be better than the first video I made…
If you’re into French public water fishing, adventure, family memories and a bit of mystery… you’re not going to want to miss this one. 🇫🇷🎣
