Raven & Steel creates original Dark Nordic music, Viking folk music, and cinematic Norse music—from story songs and ritual chants to battle anthems, Viking workout music, atmospheric instrumentals, and long-form mixes.
Inspired by Viking history, Norse mythology, northern legend, and the world of the old gods, our music explores warriors, shieldmaidens, outlaws, seers, gods, monsters, survivors, and ordinary people forced to make impossible choices.
Some songs unfold like miniature films filled with conflict, sacrifice, revenge, survival, and consequence. Others belong beside the fire, beneath the shield wall, aboard the longship, or deep within the ritual circle.
Expect powerful male and female vocals, acoustic strings, war drums, layered chants, shield strikes, dark ambience, and cinematic Viking atmosphere.
New original music, cinematic videos, Shorts, compilations, and live listening experiences from Raven & Steel.
