This particular female goose I’ve been tracking ever since she was a gosling in 2022. She isn’t ringed unfortunately but I can tell it’s her by her behavior, markings & her damage tail which she had ever since she was a juvenile.

1158-90589 spotted in the park alongside his family. Still shocked on how well this 12 year old goose was able to make it through the tuff winters and avian flu seasons

Father with a band, here his history that the laboratory confirmed to me.

His band number is 1158-90589

Banded on 06/25/2014 as a gosling so he’s approximately 12 years old

He was hatched about 6.9 to 9.1 miles away from this location.

He’s currently raising 5 juveniles alongside his mate which I never seen them in the parks I’ve been to.
