An update on things.

After this week I'm gonna go on a hiatus from uploading content for an unknown amount of time. Need to figure things out. This coincides with my other two gaming channels.

Hey everyone. Just want to give an update about the channel on it's focus for gameplays content. I will keep it as a commentary gameplay series with premieres from time to time.

I want to narrow the variety a bit more so giving a list to what will be the main focus on this channel going forward.

With the list above and how I want to change things around as a PNGTuber through livestreams, been trying to figure out how to fit this channel around a theme along with eventually doing the independent VTuber stuff for said livestreams. My face has been shown on here and will be shown though the VTuber will be for more entertainment in livestreams as in the future I will have to start showing my face on normal videos. Gonna have to do this if I want to grow and go places as being faceless won't cut it much anymore. Not a fan of it but that's how things will have to work.

In the very end of everything, I am hoping for a good future on this channel. Hope everyone understands the change. Have a good one.

Hide the very thing people want behind paywalls to make it look trivial. Talk about greedy.

Sprite sharing time!

First picture is of a garbled area of Metroid stuff for a friend's ROM hack. Working on a 4 frame animation cycle in one area, finally made a proper breakthrough to make it look good but still a challenge with 4 frames as I'm use to Castlevania stuff. There's a Shark Suit in the lower section that's going to get remade (all the past suits will be resprited) so they look better, cleaner and readable. Bottom right is a security robot that's just 'there' with my updated Phantoon (right one being modern). Breaking out of my old art style so everything can look clean and readable/easier on the eyes.

Second picture is a WIP of Alucard for Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse with the bottom one over the OG sprites is what I'm working on. Went to go watch someone else play Simon's Quest demo and came up with that. Need to finish up his boots and outfit then place it into a dumped ROM to see on what I'd got to adjust for it to be polished. The top left near Simon was the original (used my Simon for a palette reference) that I had a whole sprite sheet made but looking back on it isn't the best. If anyone doesn't know, Alucard's head in Castlevania III does not have a hit box as it's just there existing. The rest of his body, shoulders to his feet, have a hit box. Ironic that you need to whip both Alucard and Dracula in the head while they are bosses but as a playable character he's swapped his weaknesses.

Other things to discuss. I should have a simple title made for the Castlevania fan game sometime in the next few weeks while I work on the Metroid stuff. Hoping this winter I'll get all of Sonia's sprite sheet completed to what needs to be implemented in. Going to be an extremely long road ahead especially learning stuff for the Godot Engine. I thought about adding more frame animations but I'm going to truly stick to the Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse animation format to an extent. Hoping a music track is completed in the next two months as my friend is very busy, and cooking, with his Metroid ROM hack right now so don't want to take time away from him.

NES-209 to what I can get it.

The top sprites are very 'loud' and need tons of work still. Bottom ones are me just messing around with palette colors. Kind of learned a few things while making this from RoboCop vs The Terminator (SNES) but will hold off on some of my things as I'll go back to helping my friend with his Metroid hack stuff now so I can go back to mine full time.

I've got to get a title made for the Sonia Belmont fan made game, should do that very soon.

NES-209

Been working on this in teaching myself how to draw tech stuff. On the top left is ED-209 from Robocop vs The Terminator SNES (best version of any ED-209) with the Robocop NES on the bottom. The top right will be NES-209 that I'm working on with the colors from Robocop NES bottom.

While working on this I somehow thought of a fan made game of a Metroidvania based on Robocop...I dunno how that may go over in the long run. It would be freeware but unsure how the movie studios would like it. Could be an idea for someone else to pick up. I'm just making this just to learn as I'm looking into a lot of games to help me make tech stuff as I'm too use to Castlevania medieval things.

Gonna go back to Metroid sprites here shortly along with updating my version of Alucard and expand Sonia Belmont more.

Just wanna let everyone know on who reads this. I am a gaming content creator that will be playing a variety of games from ROM hacks, fan games and indie with a few AAA on the side but mainly Nintendo stuff. I'm very selective and cautious on who I support anymore from the world of AAA. Some people are seeing me as a Castlevania only content creator though this isn't the case. There are plenty of other things I want to dive into and show onto this channel, both video and live, besides just Castlevania. I hope everyone understands this and sticks around long term.

A mockup screen I did in Photoshop to be eventually placed in a Castlevania 1 ROM hack. Was working on it back in 2021 but now think I'll continue it. At this point in time I'll be whittling away on 4, possibly 5, ROM projects along with the fan game.

Will be keeping myself busy that's for sure.

Things aren't final and still building the sprite sheet for Sonia Belmont. A very long ways to go in adding more move sets. Currently has the standard sub weapon animations that share with the whip but added magic which is similar to dear old great great great great great great grandmother, Sypha Belmont.

I want to keep the formula to that of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse or close to it for all animations and similar activity for everything though depends on what happens on down the line. A name is picked out for the fan game and will be making this in Godot Engine. Currently only has 3/4 of a track though going to see if my friend is willing to work on the music with his own touches to both Castlevania titles and originals. I'll also show work towards his stuff in the future as well. I don't know much of anything for programming in Godot Engine though am willing to learn since I heard it is far easier than learning 6502 Assembly.

Think I'll keep this sort of activity towards community posts and premieres while everything else via videos and livestreams so I can attempt to grow this channel up into something with monetization as one goal then anything else afterwards. Won't be doing memberships as I'll keep all of this open to the public.

Someone's coming! Set in a different timeline, a few generations down from Richter Belmont, where the Belmont Clan are still very much present, Sonia Belmont has answered the call to hunt demons, vampires, myths and legends that are running rampant across the Transylvania countryside!

I'll shape her up more for the fan game along with showing more sprites and pixel art in the future to what I get done as I'm about to become very busy with real life here shortly! She will have 4 palettes on her person as with the other characters/enemies on the game!
