Greetings from Spain. Susan and I are currently on a much needed break in the scorching heat of Spain, walking from Barcelona into the rural areas of the north of the country. We’ll be offline for a little while, but if I can manage to put together a couple of videos, I’ll do that. If not, we’ll be back towards the end of September.

A massive 7.7 earthquake has just struck the island of Flores which is 3 islands to the east of Bali. It’s a LONG way away, but the earthquake was still felt quite strongly here in Sanur.
Tsunami warning is in place, will update if anything happens.

Unfortunately there has been a massive fire aboard one of the Bali-Lombok ferries overnight resulting in a complete evacuation and the destruction of the vessel. At least one person is confirmed to have died.

We were planning to get together and to have a chat and thought it’d be a great idea to invite anyone else along who wanted to catch up as well.
Time and place to be decided. At this stage, the plan is for 22 August.
