Hey loves 💕
I’m Vannah a women who FORGOT about her needs while everyone was dependent on HER. But it was time to finally make a DECISION to change so I decided to document the journey to become the woman God created me to be. Making one intentional DECISION at a time in every aspect of my life. My hope is to inspire other women to realize their true potential and be the change they CAN see 🫶🏽💕

Hey luv’s 💖🤗
I need to talk to somebody today who is carrying a lot right now. Maybe it's not just the steps. Maybe it's the bills, the family, the job, the health, the pressure all of it hitting at the same time. And somewhere in the middle of it, you're wondering if you even have it in you to keep going.
Listen to me carefully: Don't stop at the wall. The wall is where the breakthrough happens.
We think breakthrough comes after the struggle. But most of the time, breakthrough comes through it. It's the pressure right before the shift. The moment it feels like it's all falling apart is often the moment God is putting something together that you couldn't build on your own.
The Word says it plainly:
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." — 2 Corinthians 4:8–9
Every single one of those phrases has a "but." Pressed but not crushed. Perplexed but not in despair. Struck down but not destroyed. That "but" is God. That's the break in the wall. You are not finished. You are not forsaken. You are not alone in this.
And when the fire comes, He doesn't stand at a distance watching:
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned." — Isaiah 43:2
Notice something: He didn't say if you pass through the waters. He said when. The waters will come. The fire will come. But He will be with you in it not just after it. The breakthrough isn't always the removal of the storm. Sometimes the breakthrough is the strength to keep walking through it.
Here's what I need you to understand about this walking & wellness journey. It is a picture of your faith. Every day you lace up and take steps even on the days you don't feel like it you are practicing something deeper than fitness. You are practicing endurance. You are practicing obedience. You are practicing not quitting. And that muscle you're building in your legs is nothing compared to the muscle you're building in your spirit.
So if today feels heavy, you don't have to take 5,000 steps all at once. You don't have to solve everything. You just have to take the next step. And then the next one. That's the whole assignment. One step. Then another. Keep going.
You are not defeated. You are in process. You are not behind. You are being strengthened. And you are not walking alone not in the storm, not in the fire, not in the silence, not in the waiting.
The breakthrough is on the other side of the wall you're staring at right now.
Keep going 🫶🏽💕

🌿 YOUR POTENTIAL MAY BE GREATER THAN YOU THINK! 🙌🏾
This morning, I set out to walk a trail that was about 30 minutes one way. That was the plan. Simple enough, right? 😂
But somewhere along the way, a thought came to mind: “What if I take another route?”
That route was a little over 5 miles to get back to my car! 😳
And you know what I did? I said, “Why not? LET’S GO!” 💪🏾
As I made my way toward the finish line, I started thinking about how often we talk ourselves OUT of things before we even give ourselves a chance to try.
We convince ourselves that something is too hard, too far, too uncomfortable, or beyond our ability. Sometimes, we limit our own potential simply because we’ve already decided what we can or cannot do.
But this morning reminded me of something powerful: What if the only thing standing between you and what you’re capable of is the decision to take that first step?
The thoughts we entertain influence the way we see ourselves, the decisions we make, and the actions we take. When we stop automatically counting ourselves out and start moving in faith, we may discover that we’re capable of so much more than we imagined!
As I approached the finish line, I literally smiled to myself. 🥹❤️ I was reminded that I am capable. I can challenge myself. I can do hard things. And I don’t have to know how everything will turn out before I take the first step.
And above all, I gave GOD ALL THE GLORY! 🙌🏾 Because this journey of becoming who He created me to be is about more than physical weight loss. It’s about renewing my mind, strengthening my faith, building discipline, and learning to stop limiting myself.
So, here’s your reminder today: Stop counting yourself out before you even begin. Challenge the thoughts that tell you that you can’t. Take that walk. Start that habit. Pursue that goal. Trust God enough to take the next step.
You don’t have to do everything today. Just take the next step. ❤️
🚶🏾♀️ AND SPEAKING OF STEPS… COME WALK WITH US!

I WAS BURNED OUT… SO I LEFT. 🥺💕
There came a point where I realized I had been pouring into everyone and everything around me for so long that I was running on empty.
So I did something I don’t always give myself permission to do…
I stepped away.
I booked a solo staycation and used the time to slow down, reflect, spend time with God, reconnect with myself, move my body, eat nourishing food, and simply pour back into ME. 🤍
This isn’t a perfect wellness routine or a “I’ve figured it all out” moment.
It’s real life.
It’s learning how to recognize burnout, give myself permission to rest, and make simple decisions that move me closer to the woman I’m becoming.
💖Part 1 of my solo getaway is officially LIVE!💖
🎥 Watch Episode 6 now and come spend this reset with me.
And tell me below:
When was the last time you intentionally poured back into YOU? 👇🏽
Maybe it’s time. 🌸 one simple decision at a time.

Hey Simply Fam! 👋🏾 I did a thing… and I want you to be part of it.
I started a walking group called Faithful Steppers Club on the StepUp app, and we’re starting with something simple: 5K steps a day. Not 10K. Not perfect. Just 5K to get us moving, feeling better, and getting our health back in order.
This isn’t just about steps. It’s accountability. It’s encouragement. It’s having a crew that can see your stats, send you a quick “you got this,” and celebrate with you when you hit your goal. And honestly? Walking does so much more than we give it credit for it helps clear your head, boost your energy, support your heart, your mood, your sleep, your blood sugar, and your stress. It helped me lose the bulk of my weight. 💕Plus, when you’ve got people in your corner, it’s way easier to keep going when motivation dips.
So if you’ve been saying you need to get back on track, this is your sign. Download StepUp, join Faithful Steppers Club, and introduce yourself. Tell us your name, why you’re here, and one thing you’re committing to this week. No judgment. No shame. Just faith, footsteps, and forward motion.
Who’s stepping with me? Drop “I’m in” in the comments hit the 🔗 in bio. And tag a friend who needs a walking buddy. 👟💪🏾✨

P.S. If you’re not sure how to join, comment “HELP” and I got you. ❤️

EPISODE 4 OF BECOMING HER IS LIVE! 🩷
I’ve spent YEARS trying to lose weight.
I’ve started.
I’ve stopped.
I’ve lost weight.
I’ve gained weight.
I’ve started AGAIN.
And for a long time, I thought the problem was simply that I needed more discipline.
But what if I had been trying to fix the wrong problem?
In Episode 4, I’m sharing the REAL story behind my health journey from childhood, diet culture, motherhood, losing myself, emotional eating, my relationship with God, and the moment I realized this journey had to go much deeper than the number on the scale.
This isn’t just about losing weight.
It’s about learning who I am, doing the inner work, keeping promises to myself, stewarding my body, and becoming the woman God created me to be.
And chile…this one gets REAL. 🥹

Okay y’all… this one got REAL. 🥹🩷
I’ve spent YEARS starting and stopping with weight loss.
I’ve done the diets.
I’ve restricted.
I’ve exercised.
I’ve lost the weight.
I’ve gained it back.
And then I’d find myself saying…
“Okay… I’m starting over AGAIN.” 😩
But I’m realizing something:
Maybe I never needed more willpower.
Maybe I needed to change the mindset, habits, and identity underneath the weight loss.
In Episode 3, I’m sharing the realization that has completely shifted how I’m looking at my journey and what I’m doing differently this time to create a lifestyle I can actually sustain.
🎥 BECOMING HER — EPISODE 3 IS NOW LIVE!
👉🏽 Go watch and tell me in the comments:
What’s ONE thing you feel keeps you stuck in the cycle of starting over?
I know I’m not the only one. 🩷
And if you’re on your own journey of becoming… I’m walking this out right alongside you.
We’re not starting over.
We’re becoming. One simple decision at a time. 🤍

‼️EPISODE 2 OF BECOMING HER 🤍 IS LIVE ‼️
I went back through some of my old journals this weekend…
And honestly?
I was shocked by what I found.
I realized that some of the things I’m struggling with TODAY are things I was writing about YEARS ago.
The procrastination.
The overthinking.
Starting something and not finishing.
Putting pressure on myself.
Fear.
Conditional faith.
Getting motivated → doing well → falling off → starting over.
And I had to ask myself:
“What if I’m not failing…what if I’m repeating a pattern I haven’t learned how to break yet?”
That realization changed the way I’m looking at my journey.
So in Becoming Her — Episode 2, I’m going deeper.
Not just into weight loss.
But into habits, identity, discipline, faith, healing, mindset and the patterns that keep us stuck.
Because becoming healthier isn’t just about changing what you eat.
Sometimes you have to change what you repeatedly DO.
And sometimes before you can change what you do, you have to understand WHY you keep doing it.
Before you watch, I want you to think about this:
What is one thing you keep starting over?
Weight loss?
Working out?
Eating better?
Your finances?
Your faith?
Your business?
Your boundaries?
Your personal growth?
Let’s talk about it in the comments. 👇🏾
Please be SURE to comment, share, hype, all the things to reach all my women who need to hear this 💕🫶🏽
