Dixie After Dark
Welcome to Dixie After Dark, where we explore all the dark, mysterious, and bizzare stories that come out of the American South. From ghosts to monsters, strange crimes to weird cults; we dive head first into the stories and try to seperate history from myth.
Got a story you'd like us to explore? Send us an email, and we'll see what all we can dig up.

No episode this week. Between business meetings, storm prep, and church activities, there was no free time to put together a new episode. We'll be back at it next week though. I hope everyone else made it through the hurricane as blessed as we did.

no episode this week. I've spent the last week or so fighting off a cold or something, and much of my free time has been spent sleeping when coughing spells don't interrupt it. Needless to say, the old voice ain't up to par at the moment. All's good. though. It gives me time to catch up on writing and preparing for future episodes.

The Witch's Pond and Jane Doe update:
I've just learned that the Stafford County Sheriff's office has partnered with Othram, a company that specialized in genealogy and genetics, in an attempt to finally identify Jane Doe, who was found there in 1998. Also, funds have been raised to fully cover all the case work via crowd funding. Here's hoping for a resolution.
If you missed the original case, here's the story:

I sat down for an unscripted interview with the team at Cemetery Shrooms recently. They are a great bunch of guys, and I highly recommend them if you're interested in the unscripted, conversation podcast format for cryptids and the like. Click below for my sit down with them.

Working on two separate stories that have proven to have more information to comb through than I originally expected, so no regular episode today. I can drop a new Porchlight Confession in its place though, so stay tuned. Just wanted to give you a heads up so the temporary shift in schedule doesn't throw you off.
