equal rights, a orginal poem
equal rights isnt just black and white people having the same rights
Equal rights isnt just straight and gay people leaving in peace
Equal rights isnt just being able to go to usa no matter where you were born

Equal rights isnt human rights.
Equal rights is black, white, gay, straight, mexican, Chinese, American, greece and everyone else having the same rights.
Equal rights is women being able to love on her own, and men being able to cry.
Equal rights are human rights.

booktok has genuinely turned reading into some sort of crime. “Oh i dog ear my pages!” ‘that ruins the whole book!’ ‘That ruins the page’ ‘literally just use a bookmark’
“Oh i write in mine!” ‘Thats such a waste’ ‘thats such a red flag’
“I love cracking the spines of books!” ‘Youre supposed to keep it new!’
“Oh i listen to audiobooks!”
‘Thats not real reading!’
then what the fuck CAN i do? turn the page or is that a crime now too? Booktok is toxic and makes reading something where people have to follow the “rules” just to be fucking accepted. READING.IS.A.HOBBY. And, not so respectfully, if youre one of those people who think ANY of this is ok, (as in the ones in ‘.’) then get the fuck off my page.
