Friends, thank you so much for all your comments, both on Kathy's channel and on mine, about our latest collaboration❤️❤️. This one has been particularly special, and I hope it won't be our last.

As I mention at the beginning of the video, this production and its final result exist only in our dreams, deep in our young hearts.

I've tried to push Kathy's incredible voice to its absolute limits in the mix, if that's even possible, and aimed for a final result that feels like a major production for a world-class artist. And, in one way or another, that's exactly what Kathy is to me and, I believe, to all of you.

We've spent months working on this wonderful song, which I originally wrote one rainy night.

Sometimes, when you put yourself out there on a channel, you meet all sorts of opinions. Some people tell you it sounds awful, others that it's absolutely perfect or "too perfect". Some say they would have done it differently, whilst others feel it's simply not the same without just an acoustic guitar and a voice, and so on...

I've said this before, but I'll say it again...

I make the music I want, exactly the way I want to make it. Whether it's recorded on a phone, on a multitrack recorder, live, in GarageBand, or mixed using the kind of technology employed by the great artists we listen to out there. One thing you'll never find missing from my songs is my HEART, which is the very least I offer you in every one of my songs, and believe me, that's no small thing.

This week at MOWI, we've decided to turn the volume of the world down a little. ❤️

Two songs, two stories and two different ways of experiencing music, but with something in common: sensitivity, elegance and the simple pleasure of listening without rushing.

We're kicking things off with “Calma en el ruido”, a collaboration with Red Star. This is a very personal song, written more than twenty years ago, which now returns in a brand-new version. A delicate Spanish-language song, full of emotion, brought back to life to invite us to slow down for a moment and listen with an open heart.

And this Friday, we have something very special coming your way: “Peaches and Oranges”, an R&B version with a touch of jazz, created especially for my friend Kathy Shortt. A little musical journey filled with vintage flavour, friendship and plenty of love.

Maybe this week isn't about making a big noise. Instead, we're choosing melodies that gently touch the soul, voices that convey emotion and those little musical details that stay with you long after the song ends.

Because music is also about memories, friendships, quiet moments and feelings that don't need to shout to be heard.
