Sonic's IQ is nowhere near Eggman's. In fact, if it was, it would ruin the entire plot of most of the games. It's common sense at this point. Sonic is nowhere close to being a genius. I mean, if Sonic was soooooo smart, then why would he need Tails for ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING? Sonic is a cocky character, he's not supposed to be smart. SEGA made him an idiot on purpose, it's part of his humor and overall writing. If you believe Sonic's IQ is close to or even at Eggman's, don't call yourself a true Sonic fan, because you're just being dishonest.

It honestly really sucks that Sonic glazers are so toxic. Sonic is a very well written inspiring character, but his fanboys are annoying, mean, and honestly stupid as fuck. They will downplay characters especially Mario and say Sonic is boundless and solos fiction. It's gotten to the point they disrespect a person in the Bible, Archangel Michael. I have MULTIPLE ex friends who were toxic because they wanted to glaze Sonic. This is in no hate to Sonic the character, I think he's a great character. But honestly Sonic glazers are ALMOST as bad as Saitama glazers.
