Steph's Daily Faith Talks 🌼 | Day 19
I want to talk about something many of us feel from time to time, so I want to encourage you today. As single Christian women, we sometimes feel like we have to pretend being single never bothers us. We love God, we're thankful for our lives, and we've learned to do so much on our own. But every now and then, we find ourselves wishing for someone to share life with. Someone to talk to at the end of the day, to laugh with, to enjoy the simple everyday moments beside us. And there is nothing wrong with admitting that.
Wanting marriage doesn't mean we're ungrateful for what God has already done. Feeling lonely now and then doesn't mean we don't trust Him. Our hearts can hold both gratitude and longing. So let's keep thanking God for the husbands we're believing Him for, and rest knowing the timing is safe in His hands.
Blessings,
Stephanie ❤️

Sometimes, I think we unconsciously want the man we marry to be this perfect man who always says and does the right thing. But the truth is, we know he won’t be, and thankfully, he won’t need a perfect woman either! The blessing is to marry someone who loves God, is humble, and has a teachable heart. Someone who wants to keep growing and is willing to work through life’s challenges together. And hopefully, we’re bringing those same qualities into the marriage. Now, that doesn’t mean we should bring a lot of unresolved baggage and issues into marriage. We should both be working on ourselves before we say “I do.”
But the truth is, neither of us will have everything figured out. We’ll always have room to grow, learn, and make changes. Through the good days, the hard days, the bumps, and the smooth times, I pray we’ll both be willing to listen, forgive, and keep becoming better together. That’s the kind of marriage worth praying and preparing for!
Have a happy day!
Stephanie ❤️

Wow! I’ve been there! You meet a man you really like, and sometimes it’s hard to see certain things about him because your feelings are already involved. You want things to work out, so you may overlook things that would normally concern you. Believe me, I understand because I’ve done it myself! But one thing I’ve learned over the years is that when people show us who they are, it’s important to believe them. Especially when we’re getting to know someone we might marry. Sometimes our feelings can get in the way of what God may be trying to show us. I think that’s why it’s so important to pray and ask God for wisdom and understanding.
As we know, marriage is a lifelong commitment, and there’s so much more to consider than just how we feel about someone. And if you’re unsure, there’s nothing wrong with talking things over with your pastor or someone spiritually mature whom you trust. Sometimes it’s helpful to hear from someone who isn’t emotionally involved, because when we really like somebody, we don’t always see everything clearly.
Blessings to you,
Stephanie ❤️

I’m going to be honest. I’ve struggled with comparing my life to other women’s lives. I would see all the things happening for them and wonder, “Lord, when is it going to be my turn, there are things I’ve been believing you for?” I’ve had to ask God to forgive me and ask the Holy Spirit to deal with my heart. If you let that go that can get deep, rooted and become envy, which is very dangerous. I even keep a gratitude journal where I write down at least three things I’m thankful for every day. But every now and then, those thoughts still try to creep in. I’m learning that we can be grateful for what we have and still struggle with wanting what we don’t have.
But here’s what we have to remember. Her engagement doesn’t mean God has forgotten about us. Her new home, car or success doesn’t take anything away from what God has for you. And when we spend too much time comparing, we can miss the blessings right in front of us! Every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). So let’s celebrate one another, keep thanking God for what He’s already done, and continue seeking Him with all our hearts. Our blessings may not look like someone else’s, and the timing may be different, but God knows what’s best for each of us. We can trust Him while we wait.
Bless you,
Stephanie 😍🥰😘

YES!! Some of us have been asking God that question a lot lately. We’ve been praying, waiting, and wondering when what we’ve been praying for will finally happen. And sometimes it’s hard watching others receive the very things we’ve been praying for.
Trust me, I completely understand. We don’t have to pretend that waiting doesn’t hurt. God knows how we feel, and we can talk to Him about it. But I want us to be careful not to put our whole lives on hold while we’re waiting for that one thing to happen. There are still people to love, things to enjoy, and blessings to thank God for right now. And while we wait, let’s not spend every day side-eyeing heaven like, “Okay Lord… anytime now.”
Have a blessed day! ❤️

As we know, the world has a lot to say about feminism, but biblical womanhood looks different. A godly Christian woman can be strong and gentle, confident and humble. Choosing self-control, serving others, and honoring God still matters. Modesty is not just how we dress, but also how we speak and act. We’re all growing to become more like Jesus.

Am I alone on this, or do you love having friends you can laugh with, pray with, and enjoy life with? But also want those friends to love you enough to tell me the truth, even when it’s not what you want to hear? Whether we’re talking about someone we’re considering marrying, our health, family matters, or decisions we’re making in life, I want friends who care enough about me not to sit back and watch me destroy myself. 😅
Sometimes we get so excited about what we want that we overlook things we really need to consider. I don’t want someone to agree with me just to make me feel good. I want friends who will lovingly remind me of what God’s Word says and help me see what I might be missing. And I want to be that kind of friend, too. Because a good friend doesn’t just care about what makes us happy today. They care about the decisions we’re making and where those decisions may lead us.
Encouraging Scripture:
Proverbs 27:6 (NLT)
“Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.”
Have a blessed day,
Stephanie 💛

I heard someone say that women often talk about their feelings, while men tend to keep theirs inside and carry them around. That really made me think! We may have a lot to say when something bothers us, but the men in our lives may handle things differently. That’s why it’s so important for us to learn how to talk to each other in ways we both understand. We want to make it easier to talk things through, not harder. Good communication is something we can all keep learning!
Have a good day,
Stephanie 💛

There’s something so nice about walking into a clean, peaceful home after a long day.
Sometimes we (I’m included) get so focused on what we wish we had that we forget to appreciate what God has already blessed us with. Let’s all take a little time today to care for the home we have. If you’ve struggled with this, maybe just take one small area to clean and organize everyday…that will make a huge difference for you. A peaceful home isn’t about having everything perfect. It’s about creating a place where you can rest, feel grateful, and enjoy the blessings you already have. 🏡
Bless you,
Stephanie ❤️
