Happy November everyone, it's time for another 3D printed armor update! A majority of the paint has been applied to the armor pieces, along with some additional scratches and weathering detail. I also had to reprint the chest/back because it was a bit too small... but this new print is much better!

Up next is applying the final satin clear coat, weathering with an oil wash, and adding padding/supports/electronics!

More progress has been made on my 3D printed Halo armor! From filling in the armor with putty, sanding, and priming, to applying the first layer of metallic paint… things are moving along! Next up is some pre-weathering before we move onto the first armor color paint!

With the news breaking earlier this week of Activation taking over the future of Halo, which game are you hoping they release first?

Well... THIS was not on my 2026 bingo card. Xbox has officially announced that Activision will be developing the next Halo game.

A new, purpose-built team at Activision will handle the next Halo title, while a smaller team at Halo Studios will continue supporting the existing Halo games and community. Considering Activision is behind Call of Duty, this is a pretty wild change for Halo.

What do you think? Are you excited to see what Activision can do with Halo, or does this make you nervous about the direction of the franchise? And more importantly... what do you actually want from the next Halo game?
