The Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers was created on November 26, 1943 thanks to the noble initiative of a group of mining engineers to become one of the most important entities in the Peruvian mining sector. Its success and prestige is based on the technical contribution delivered for more than 70 years. Since its creation the IIMP has set the goal of becoming the leading institute that gathers the best professionals of the industry to face the big challenges our mining industry has, in a context of constant change.
