I’ve spent the last few years treating this channel like a professional studio, putting in the engineering hours, the stem work, and the production quality that most channels don’t even touch. I’ve done it with the expectation that quality would speak for itself.

​I’ve been sending out links to my latest work, like the Kanye 'Preacher Man' reconstruction, because I’m proud of the technical effort I put into it. When I send a link and I get a '👍' reaction on the text, or a message saying 'I'll get to it later,' I’m going to be honest: that isn't support.

​A text reaction doesn't help the YouTube algorithm. An 'I'll get to it' that never happens doesn't help my reach. If you truly support what I’m doing, it takes less than 2 minutes out of your 24-hour day to actually click the link, hit the Like button on the channel, and maybe leave a comment. That is the only way the work I do in FL Studio actually gets seen by the world.

​I hear the excuses about being busy with work, school, or preferring the original versions of songs, but talk is cheap. Support is an action. If you can't take two minutes to engage with the actual video, then please don't tell me you support the brand—because the numbers show otherwise.

I see the "simple-minded" timestamps. I see people skipping the production just to "snack" on the riffs. It took me years to master FL Studio to build these sounds. I’m putting in manual labor on every beat overlay, every baseline, and every stem—things you won't find anywhere else.

HERE IS THE DEAL:
If I can’t get the energy on my last 100 videos to match the support here, I am privatizing this video at 500,000 views. I’m a producer, not a jukebox. My new Don Toliver tracks and my recent overlays are lightyears ahead of this 3-year-old project.

I’m done playing the game.

I have over 1,077 subscribers here, but it’s clear most of you are "ghosts" waiting for one specific sound or one specific artist. I’ve put my soul into my music, stripped tracks down to the bone in FL Studio, and layered projects for weeks at a time—only to be met with silence, while the "algorithm" boxes me in.

I’m tired of being blunt and getting no feedback. I’m tired of the lack of support from people who claim to be in my circle. And I’m definitely tired of a greedy industry and a broken culture that values profit over people and real art.

As of today, my perspective has shifted:

The Octane Album is out. I just dropped the remixes back-to-back. If you hear them, you hear them. If you don't, that’s on you.

I am creating for ME now. From this point forward, I’m not making music for "fans" who don't engage or for an algorithm that doesn't care. I’m making it for my own world.

No more forced water. I’m not going to beg for likes or views anymore. If you're here for the craft, stay. If you're here just to keep one old video in your feed, feel free to head out.

To the very few who actually hit like and leave a comment—I see you. To everyone else: I’m doing this for the music, not the numbers.
