A three-time Emmy Award-winning voice actor with over 400 acting credits to his name, Eric grew up with a deep love for classic cartoons. After studying radio, television, and film production at Centennial College, he began his career in animation as a character designer before eventually finding his calling behind the microphone. He gained recognition for voicing Stimpy in Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon," before establishing himself as one of the industry's most versatile voice talents.
Throughout his career, Eric took on some of animation's most iconic legacy characters, from Woody Woodpecker to carrying on the extraordinary legacy of Mel Blanc, by voicing nearly the entire Looney Tunes roster, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, Tweety Bird, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, and many more. Among his many accomplishments was his work on the recently released Coyote vs. Acme, a film that nearly went unreleased after being shelved by Warner Bros.
Eric's talents extended well beyond Warner Bros., with an impressive list of Disney credits to his name. He voiced Fenton Crackshell, aka Gizmoduck, in DuckTales: Remastered, the Beagle Boys in the 2017 DuckTales reboot, José Carioca in The Legend of the Three Caballeros, Baby Fozzie Bear in the 2018 Muppet Babies reboot, Reggie Racona in Kiff, among many more. He also lent his voice to the upcoming holiday special Mickey's Home Alone, set to premiere next month.
On October 25th, Eric's family announced his sudden passing through his Instagram account, with further details initially forthcoming. According to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, his death was attributed to hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

Wishing a spectacular 95th birthday to Disney Legend Bob Gurr!
Born in Los Angeles, Bob developed an early fascination with mechanics, from tools and mechanical devices to automobiles in particular. If it moved, he was captivated! He filled his school papers with car sketches and even snuck onto the grounds of Grand Central Airport to climb into the cockpits of parked transport planes. An energetic and curious child, Bob was eventually expelled from school in the third grade and sent to Burbank Military Academy, where he thrived under its project-based curriculum.
After high school, Bob enrolled at ArtCenter College of Design in 1949 to study industrial design. While there, he received a General Motors scholarship and was hired as an automobile stylist before graduating in May 1952. He then headed to Detroit, Michigan, to pursue a career in the automobile industry, securing a position at Ford. A year later, he returned to California to establish his own company, R. H. Gurr Industrial Design.
Through his connection with Disney animator Ub Iwerks, whose son had attended school with Bob, he was referred to consult on and design the miniature ride vehicles for Autopia, an attraction at Disneyland. Impressed by his work, Walt Disney hired Bob full-time at WED Enterprises, the creative and engineering division responsible for bringing Disneyland's attractions to life.
Throughout his Disney career, Bob contributed to over 100 projects, helping bring to life Tomorrowland's Flying Saucers; Main Street, U.S.A.'s antique cars and double-decker buses; the Haunted Mansion's Doom Buggies; the Disneyland Monorail System; the Submarine Voyage; and the Matterhorn Bobsleds. He also helped design the mechanical systems behind Disney's first Audio-Animatronics human figure, Abraham Lincoln, featured in Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
Although Bob retired from Walt Disney Imagineering in 1981, he continued consulting on select projects and was named a Disney Legend in 2004.
Happy 95th Birthday, Bob! Thank you for helping drive Disney's magic forward and bringing so many unforgettable experiences to life!

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to my pal, Brock Powell!
Growing up in Nevada, Brock loved using voices and impressions to entertain others and connect with his peers. He began performing in theater at an early age and discovered he felt more comfortable on stage than in the audience! He went on to study musical theater at Concordia University Irvine in Orange County, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.
After graduating, Brock was still figuring out his future. While traveling, he learned of the passing of Wayne Allwine, the beloved voice of Mickey Mouse. Despite never having met Wayne, Brock was surprised by how deeply the news affected him. He realized he wasn't just mourning the actor, but the impact Mickey had made on his life. In that moment, Brock discovered his dream: to pursue voice acting, bring beloved Disney characters to life, and make the same lasting impact Wayne had made on him.
Brock's Disney journey began at the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland! After auditioning to portray the Genie in a live musical show at Disney California Adventure, he faced rejection, but that didn't stop him from pursuing his dream. The very next day, he auditioned for Turtle Talk with Crush, where performers bring Finding Nemo's lovable sea turtle to life through voice acting and digital puppeteering while interacting with guests.
Determined to grow as a voice actor, Brock contacted Disney Legend Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy, who became his mentor and helped him hone his craft. His hard work and dedication led to roles across a variety of projects! He became the voice of the Kool-Aid Man and appeared in Dan Povenmire's shows, including Milo Murphy's Law and Phineas and Ferb. He's also widely recognized for voicing Lyle, aka FistPuncher, in Hamster & Gretel!
More recently, Brock has become a familiar voice in the Mickey Mouse universe, voicing Teddy and Sneezel in Mickey Mouse Funhouse, Santa Claus in various Mickey holiday specials, and Willie the Giant, a role he took over after Will Ryan's passing.
Cheers to another GIANT celebration, Brock! Hope your birthday is as smashing as ever! Happy Birthday!

Ferb, I know what we’re gonna do today! We’re gonna wish a very Happy Birthday to Vincent Martella!
Born in Rochester, New York, Vincent moved to DeLand, Florida, as a child, where he began developing his incredible talents. He started dancing at just three years old, performing in The Nutcracker, and learned to play piano at five. After a teacher noticed his talent for impressions, Vincent was encouraged to pursue acting classes and local theater. By age seven, his acting career was already beginning to take off!
Vincent has brought his talents to both live-action and voice-over roles across film and television. He made his television debut with a minor appearance in Fox’s Cracking Up in 2004 before landing a recurring role as Scoop in Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. His big break came in 2005 when he was cast as Greg Wuliger, Chris’s best friend, in Everybody Hates Chris, appearing throughout the sitcom’s four-season run. Other notable roles include Patrick in The Walking Dead, Hope Estheim in the Final Fantasy franchise, and Robin in various animated Batman projects.
At just 13 years old, Vincent landed the role that would become his most iconic: the optimistic, imaginative Phineas Flynn in Disney’s hit animated series Phineas and Ferb! During his audition, creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh knew they had found their Phineas after hearing Vincent deliver one of the character’s iconic lines: “Yes, yes I am.” Since then, Vincent has continued bringing Phineas to life, including the series’ triumphant return with its fifth season in 2025! He also voiced Bradley Nicholson in Milo Murphy’s Law, another series from the Phineas and Ferb creative team.
Vincent, here’s wishing you a truly Phin-tastic birthday! Cheers to another rollercoaster of a year ahead. Keep moving forward, and carpe diem!

It’s been another year since she became part of our world, so let’s wish a very Happy 65th Birthday to Disney Legend Jodi Benson!
Born in Rockford, Illinois, Jodi has been sharing her incredible voice with the world since she began singing at just five years old. While attending Millikin University, she shifted away from a potential career in law and joined the college’s B.F.A. musical theater program. Her big break came in 1983, when she landed her first Broadway role in Kenny Ortega’s Marilyn: An American Fable.
From there, Jodi continued to shine on stage, but her own fairy tale was only beginning. In 1986, she starred as Doria Hudson in the musical Smile, introducing audiences to the song “Disneyland.” Little did she know that Disney would soon become such a defining part of her career!
Although Smile ended its Broadway run early, its lyricist, Howard Ashman, was about to embark on a new adventure: writing for The Little Mermaid. He invited the women from the musical’s cast to audition for Ariel. Among hundreds of hopeful actresses, Jodi recorded a portion of what would become her now-iconic song, “Part of Your World.” More than a year later, she officially landed the role that would change her life forever.
Since then, Jodi has continued to bring Ariel to life across countless projects, but her career extends far beyond Atlantica! She voiced Weebo in Flubber, Barbie in the Toy Story franchise, Lady in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure, and Anita Radcliffe in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure. She even made a splash in live-action as Sam in Enchanted.
Jodi’s Disney legacy also extends to television. She voiced Helen of Troy in Hercules: The Animated Series and took over as Belle from Paige O’Hara in House of Mouse. She later explored new corners of the ocean, voicing Queen Emmaline in Sofia the First and Marina Neptina in Disney Jr.’s Ariel series.
Have a very sea-riffic 65th birthday, Jodi! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent with the world and making fans feel like they’re part of your world!

My favorite day of the whole year. I’m officially 19 now. Surreal. It’s been a truly fantastic year, from graduating high school, going back to the Happiest Place on Earth, meeting my hero, and so many other great moments that made this year one to remember.
I’m looking forward to getting back into making more videos and shorts on a schedule, meeting more of you guys, and growing my audience, while continuing to become even more connected to my favorite company and making new friends and connections along the way.
Thank you all for the amount of support you’ve shown me over these past few years. It truly means a lot to me. Cheers to whatever comes next!

On this day in Mickey Mouse history, The Mickey Mouse Club premiered on ABC in 1955!
Before becoming the groundbreaking television program, the Mickey Mouse Club began as a local club that kids could join in 1929 at the Fox Dome Theater in Ocean Park, California. Soon, Mickey Mouse Clubs spread across the country, where members could watch Mickey Mouse cartoons, enjoy Mickey-themed music, recite Mickey Mouse credos, and elect a Chief Mickey and Minnie. By 1932, Mickey Mouse Clubs had more than 1 million members!
Decades later, the club would move to television following a landmark deal Walt Disney struck with ABC. To fund Disneyland, Disney received $4.5 million in loans from ABC, while the network gained two new series: the Disneyland anthology show and The Mickey Mouse Club.
The series was one of the first major children's television programs of its kind. A cast of 24 kids, known as the Mouseketeers, performed skits and musical numbers, introduced guest stars, and took part in serialized stories and newsreel segments from around the world, alongside Disney cartoons. The club was led by Jimmie Dodd, the songwriter behind the iconic “Mickey Mouse March.”
Airing five days a week, the original series produced 260 one-hour episodes and 130 half-hour episodes. Each weekday had its own theme: “Fun With Music Day” on Monday, “Guest Star Day” on Tuesday, “Anything Can Happen Day” on Wednesday, “Circus Day” on Thursday, and “Talent Roundup Day” on Friday.
After the original series concluded in 1959, the Mickey Mouse Club lived on through several revivals, including The New Mickey Mouse Club in 1977, The All-New Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) in 1989, which launched the careers of stars such as Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera, and Club Mickey Mouse in 2017, which was reimagined for social media.
Now, the Mickey Mouse Club could be entering a new era, as Disney ordered a pilot for a reboot titled The Mickey Mouse Club: A New Era. With Ben Winston, Ashley Edens, Emma Conway, and Dave Piendak as executive producers, the project aims to give a new generation of performers a chance to shine through music, comedy, and performance.
