HELLO, LITHIUM/LEAD VIEWERS: One of my Electrical Engineer friends in the States and I are developing a lithium battery charger that is made especially for lithium/lead hybrid systems (not a dc/dc converter). It would allow your existing lead chargers and regulators to charge the lithium part of your bank exactly how it wants to be charged, but still charge the lead as it needs. No trade-offs. Would you would want such a device, if it was made available for sale, at a reasonable price for our YouTube viewers and patrons?

Hi everyone! We are slowly returning to "normal life" (whatever that is) aboard SV Temptress. We have arrived in Luperon, Dominican Republic, a bit banged up, but relieved to be here. Our videos are a bit behind, but we are keeping our Patrons up to date via weekly (and sometimes daily) text adventure log entries. Once we get everything dried off and fixed up, we hope to finish the dinghy build series, and our voyaging series from last summer. A hurricane is brewing. Meet #Gonzalo. The yellow dot here shows the current approximate location of Temptress off Crooked Island, while the cone shows arrival times of hurrican-force- and tropical-storm-force-winds this coming week. It is predicted to be reduce to tropical storm force winds (39-74mph) before it passes south of us. We hope it doesn't come any closer, and plan to move to a safer harbor (Atwood) tomorrow, which should offer protection from all directions except north. We have to get this tattered mainsail fixed. Hoping for the best. Preparing for the worst. Thanks for all the messages and for thinking of us.
