Today, April 30, we celebrate International Jazz Day — a day dedicated to the music that gave the world rhythm, freedom, soul, and endless inspiration.

Jazz would not be what it is today without the vision, courage, and genius of artists like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Charles Mingus, Herbie Hancock, Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck, Art Blakey, Bill Evans, Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson, Wayne Shorter, and many others.

These artists did more than create music. They shaped a language of emotion, improvisation, and freedom that still speaks to people across the world.

We want to thank them for becoming the foundations of jazz, for opening the doors that so many musicians walked through, and for inspiring us to create Jazz & Co. — a place where we can continue sharing our love for jazz with our subscribers, listeners, and strangers who may discover this music at just the right moment.

We’d like to share a few important updates with you.

First, we’ve refreshed several existing playlists and created new ones. Over time, our channel has grown into a substantial jazz library with many different moods and directions. We felt it was time to organize everything more thoughtfully, so it’s easier for you to navigate and find exactly the atmosphere you’re looking for. We’re still finalizing a few details, and the playlists will be fully completed in the coming days.

Second, we’re moving to a new publishing schedule on a trial basis. From now on, we’ll be releasing 2-3 videos per week. We’re not going anywhere - this change is simply to give each new piece more attention and care, so every release feels stronger and more refined. The updated playlists will make sure you always have something to play, no matter the mood.

Third, we’ve made a subtle adjustment to the visual style of our videos. The music remains the same in quality and intention - we just want to deepen the atmosphere and immersion even further.

And finally, many older and newer tracks are now available across streaming platforms. If you haven’t checked yet, you’re very welcome - the link is in our profile.

You can’t imagine how much joy we get from creating these playlists. It has truly become a dream job for us. And reading your comments is something we value deeply - we see every single one and respond with gratitude. The more you share your thoughts, the more inspired we feel to keep pushing forward.
