Hi Silph Squad! This post is a bit out of my ordinary, but times are strange!

To help cover several months off of work and expenses from my cancer diagnosis, I am finally looking to let go of my long-held and very large Pokémon card collection. I am seeking $15k USD for the entire thing. I am sad to let go of it, but I have to think of this as my fundraiser I suppose! 😅

If you are interested, located in either the United States or Canada, and have proof of funds (Paypal balance, etc.), please DM me on Twitter/X (@silphspectre x.com/SilphSpectre ). Serious buyers only please.

Cheers! Looking to get some more videos to you soon. Just still recovering mentally but should be a fun next few months for the channel.

In the meantime, I'm curious... do you collect Pokémon cards?!

Hey all! Would like to thank you all for the kind messages. I've read every single one and they really filled my heart during such a hard time. Believe me when I say it's inspiring to know that so many people care so deeply. I'm doing much better physically, and my mental game is improving as I adjust back to normal life.

Just wanted to post a small update that I'll have another video up by the end of the month (next 6 days) so stay tuned! It will be a typelocke that I've been putting off for pretty much 5 years due to its difficulty lol

In the meantime, this may seem super random, but I'm curious: do you read books in your free time?

Hey Silph Squad. Wanted to give a long overdue update on my health. I'll try to make this as concise as possible.

In late February, I had a biopsy done. I didn't think much of it, as I've had one of these done before with no problem. It is of course always stressful waiting for results, and this was a particularly long wait (just over a month).

Right at the start of April, I found out the results: I was diagnosed with melanoma; one of the most aggressive forms of cancer. As I'm sure you can imagine, this came as quite a shock. What proceeded was nothing short of a nightmare, with surgeries, recovery, more and more tests, more and more waits, treatment, and it ultimately culminated in a 3.5 month process from start to finish. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. The good news: as far as the doctors can tell, I am now in the clear.

I apologize for the lack of updates during this process. My mindset just wasn't in the right place to keep updating people on every step of the process, especially since final answers took ~100 days to get. I really didn't know what to say, and for a large part I was in quite a lot of pain. It was also quite a trip not knowing whether or not I was going to live; it opened up a giant Pandora's box mentally and I felt like I was in a Schrodinger's cat scenario, completely unsure of what the future held (or if there would be one).

The big takeaway: use sunscreen. Try to stay out of the sun during peak hours (11am-3pm). Book a visit with your doctor and get referred to a dermatologist for a full check-up. This mole was rather inconspicuous and took a dermatoscope (a tool specialists use) to tell that anything was wrong. I didn't go for any particular reason; just a check-up. And good thing I did.

Alas, the past several months have been very hard. I've incurred a lot of expenses, and with being unable to work I've been left in a bit of a pickle financially. I don't want to start a GoFundMe or anything like that as there are many people going through far worse than me, but if you would be willing to help out, I would greatly appreciate you considering joining the channel as a Member. You can click the 'Join' button on my Channel page or click: youtube.com/channel/UCtinjbOUj6cfqvm8mPcYk-w/join

Otherwise, content will be returning very shortly. I would like to thank my wife for saving my life (and diligently taking care of me throughout the entire process of doing so). And thank you all for your support over the years. Love each other and take care of yourselves. Always.

Hey all. Just a quick notice that I unfortunately won't be streaming tonight. I got some jarring health news that has really not put me in the right mindset to be able to give you guys the kind of quality stream you deserve. I hope to be back tomorrow and I will hopefully be able to update you then.

In the meantime I hope you have a great night and I'll see you soon ✌️

Hey all, a quick update regarding our Pokémon Radical Red Hardcore Nuzlocke streams! (Thurs-Sun @ 5pm EDT)

I got feedback that the streams were appearing everywhere across people's homefeed, and since there's 4 episodes per week sometimes it could be a lot.

To solve this, I've Unlisted the VODs from the "Live" tab - however, you can now easily find them all in the "Playlists" tab of my channel. Cheers!

P.S. Have you made it to the livestreams!?
