To everyone who has subscribed to the USPCA YouTube channel—thank you.
I want to say something that matters to me, and I hope it matters to you too: asking questions is not only okay, but it’s also encouraged.
We all come from different backgrounds. We train differently. We work with different dogs, in different environments, under different policies and expectations. There is no single way that fits everyone—and that’s exactly why discussion matters.
I learned this profession by asking questions. I asked trainers. I asked handlers. I asked people who disagreed with me. Some of the most valuable lessons I learned came from conversations that started with, “Why do you do it that way?”
If you watch one of our videos and something isn’t clear, doesn’t match how you train, or makes you think—ask about it. That’s how we all get better. That’s how we sharpen our understanding, improve our programs, and stay honest about what we’re doing and why.
So don’t hesitate.
Ask questions.
Challenge ideas respectfully.
Share your experience.
That’s how this profession moves forward.
