Hello friends my name is Mike and I'm a railfan from Southern Illinois. I love to watch and film trains. It's a fun and relaxing hobby for me, and being outdoors is a huge perk. On this channel you'll find my collection of train videos and railfanning adventures from around the Southern Illinois region (areas south of Springfield, IL). Some videos will contain other topics about railroad history. We have numerous railroads throughout the area, including NS, CSX, BNSF, CN, and UP. I strive to film interesting and unique trains and offer as much content variety as possible across different railroads and locations in Southern Illinois. I hope you enjoy these videos featuring the sights, sounds, and beauty of trains here in the Midwest. Please be sure to like and subscribe. Thanks for your support!

Trains of Southern Illinois
The weather here in Illinois has not been very cooperative for railfanning lately. In the past 2 weeks we've had multiple rounds of severe thunderstorms, wind, hail, and now flooding rains this weekend. Because of this, I've had few opportunities to shoot videos. The weather late next week looks much better (dry and warmer), so I'm looking forward to getting back out and shooting new videos for you guys then. Thanks for your patience!
