The Flight Simulator Red Arrows are a group of individuals aiming to recreate the Royal Airforce Aerobatic Team | The Red Arrows, in exacting detail over the years. We are currently utilizing the platform Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) this platform allows us to perform to a high standard and complete all the challenging manoeuvres with precise detail. Within this platform, we fly our Hawk T1A that is equipped with a working smoke pod alongside 8K Textures! We are a welcoming group and enjoy all aspects of aviation. The team began in November 2022 and has slowly progressed to what you see here today. We are always looking for new talent to get involved and have various roles individuals can be within the team from an active pilot to one of the blues on the ground.
Flight Simulator Red Arrows
The team have been working hard over the last 2 weeks with some of the core formations needed for our display. We have broken down the display into segments to perfect each part as we progress.
During this time the pilots are learning the role they have to play in each challenging maneuver from smoke colour to timings and what communications are needed via radio. We are really happy with our progress so far and have attached some recent media below for all to see!
ENID
Enid are currently working on the first 4 parts of the 2012 routine with lots of re runs of each move to ensure the core learning is working and muscle memory is been built.
SYNCHRO
Synchro are currently running full part 1 and part 2's of the display with colour! They are now in a position to integrate with ENID to complete our full compliment of 7 jets!
Outside of flying the team have came together out of hours for some team building activity. This weekend we all sat down to watch an old documentary on the red arrows called "A Quiver Of Silver" it was a nice time for everyone to let of some steam and really learn about the past history of the great team that is the RAFAT Red Arrows!

Flight Simulator Red Arrows
Good Evening Everyone!
Its time for a weekly update along with some media to showcase what we have been upto this past week.
The team is hard at work, meticulously crafting a fully custom scenery that accurately represents the iconic home base of the Red Arrows RAF Waddington, You can see some of whats being worked on in the background of one of this weeks images. All the hangars and the buildings will be recreated as best as we can from online images and posts that we can find allowing us to immerse pilots and spectators alike in the heart of this historic airbase!
As like every week, our display manoeuvres are being fine-tuned to perfection, ensuring that each twist, roll, and loop is as best as we can do it, with detail this week being specfically on the first few moves being broken down and rinsed and repeated over and over with an air debrief taking place first then a full track review once we land.
And finally for this week Cockpit Redesign: The cockpit of our Red Arrows Hawk is undergoing a meticulous transformation. Why? Because we’re obsessed with authenticity. (Plus our RED9 is a bit of freak when it comes to making things accurately) Every switch, gauge, and control panel is being scrutinized and redesigned to match the real Hawk down to the last rivet. Both the pilots AND spectators deserve nothing but the best and as such I've committed to this fun little task!
