If someone wants to leave the WIS community, they can do so quietly without making a big deal out of it because the community doesn’t depend on any one person. It’s important to avoid playing the victim or generalizing the community as toxic. Instead, it’s better to reflect on personal issues with the community and the people chosen to be around. Bashing others isn’t helpful since the community never needed that negativity. People shouldn’t bash the WIS community just because of a bad experience with their friend group. It’s unfair to label the entire community as toxic. For example, comparing two clips by placing them above and below each other isn’t toxic at all. Also, claiming that people in the WIS community have died or suffered mental health issues just to make a point is really extreme. Those who leave and criticize the community often believe they’re never wrong. When people refer to ‘the WIS community,’ they’re talking about a wide range of individuals, many of whom aren’t connected to any personal problems someone might have.
If you want to quit, quit. Theres no reason to drag a situation. When the other side also is actively trying to understand someone’s resolve.
