-- IMPORTANT UPDATING REGARDING THE DISCORD HACKS --

Do not under any circumstance download a .zip file sent by a friend on discord! THAT IS HOW THE HACK IS SPREADING AND GOING AROUND JUST LIKE A PLAGUE! To confirm the identity of a friend behind an account get them to join a call or vc so you HEAR their voice on the other side.

The virus is said to be a "curseforge modpack" that is sent by the hacker using a "friends" discord account. As soon as you upload the modpack to curseforge it will open the virus disguised as a mod and run command prompt on your computer then save all private information including passwords, emails, records, anything and everything the hacker can get his hands on before logging you out of all accounts then the hacker will start to use your account to hack everyone on your friends list.

If you did get hacked then make sure to change the password for EVERY ACCOUNT AND LOGIN. Not just discord, but everything because the hack also takes information and passwords tied to all programs and google emails/accounts connected to your computer! After you are able to fight back and change password/accounts information then the next best thing to do is DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET, CHANGE PASSWORDS, AND RUN AN ANTIVIRUS SCAN. There is the chance the antivirus doesn't scan the virus and is not able to defend against it (cause most of them are shitty). The safest and mild extreme way to make sure your pc is virus free is to FACTORY RESET YOUR PC and/or UPDATE/REINSTALL WINDOWS!

I have been dealing with this behind the scenes for the past 2 days, and I should've made this public sooner before I knew it could get worse + more people I knew got hacked by the same accounts and virus. I BEG OF YOU DO NOT TRUST FRIENDS YOU THINK YOU KNOW UNLESS YOU CAN CONFIRM WHO THEY ARE!

I'll try to update information on the subject over on twitter if you are interested, but heads up I'm tired af and don't got time to post info soon.

--IMPORTANT UPDATE--

I'm back from Vidcon, got some cool and funny vlog moments with Whipsy, Topothetop, Jumbo, and with even more people and creators we hung out with! I'm gonna do a vidcon vlog soon which might be my next video...

BECAUSE my Computer decided to crap all over me 😭 It was working just fine last night then all of a sudden I unplugged the surge protector, plugged it back in and now it isn't turning on at all. I hope it's just a simple fix like a circuit protection feature or it just being the power supply but it's gonna be 2 weeks to get a diagnostics back as well as try and get the data off of it to an external hard drive so kinda having to scrape what videos I have saved on my laptop.

Even though video's will be behind and it sucks a lot that this is happened right after Vidcon and how inspired I felt after coming back, I'm still glad to say that this is my job and it's only a temporary issue that I'll overcome. I'll do my best to try and get something posted for this weekend ❤️

(Forgot to save/post this update 2 times so 3rd time's the charm)
