Breaking Back

A little update, I was halfway through a wood and resin project which was saved on my phone. I stood up with my phone in my lap and now the screen doesn't work so there's an hour plus of the footage trapped on that phone for now. I have a cheap backup phone that is from 2024 and the cameras aren't that great 😬 that being said it's taking longer than I anticipated to get a new phone and I still have to figure out how to get all of my stuff off the old one. Since it is taking a bit I do want to upload something just be warned the video quality may be lacking 😂

Also some good news is the Rinvoq is beginning to work, unfortunately the spinal injections I got are wearing off so it's give and take 🫠

Breaking Back

I've been taking my new meds for a couple days now and unfortunately they haven't done anything yet other than add some random nausea 🤢.

I was hopeful to have a bunch of content out right now, but truth be told I recorded an hour of me building half of a Lego and I'm still editing the dang thing 2 or 3 days later 🫣 I've probably spent 4 hours total editing and I've got maybe 10 minutes left to go through so bear with me please 😁. My hands cramp up pretty quickly after a few minutes of editing which is why it hasn't been completed yet, well that and my wife's back at work while my kids are not back at school (though they go back tomorrow 🙌🏼) so I've also been busy.

Wish me luck that my meds start working soon 🤞🏼, I want to get some power tools back in these hands.

Breaking Back

My kids go back to school in a week and then I can get back to my normal schedule, it's been hectic and being between meds hasn't made things easy. I got approved for a new once a day pill though (rinvoq?) so hopefully that stuff works without all the side effects 🤞🏼🙏🏼. That being said, I will have some time to work tomorrow all by myself so I plan on recording enough for a few videos. Thank you for your patience, I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. 🤘🏼

Breaking Back

It's been so long since I've uploaded a video. I'm sorry! Thank you for sticking with me 🙏🏼

I've had some ups and downs with my health lately as well as it being summer break. We've just been super busy with the kids doing things like swim lessons and visiting grandparents.

I'm going to film a Lego video either tonight or early tomorrow morning and upload it tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some more than that but we'll start there 😅

Breaking Back

I had my epidurals today. Everything went well, though there are 4 injection sites instead of 2... But I was knocked out for it anyways 😂💫

They should give me nerve relief for a couple months 🤞🏼 though I had them in a different spot (not on anesthesia😫) and it didn't do anything so I'm hoping this time around will do the trick 🙌🏼

I'm not supposed to do anything for 24 hours but I do want to make a video as soon as I can. I may even tell my kids about having a YouTube channel 😬... We'll see

I hope all the Dad's out there Had a great Father's Day, mine was spent in a car for half the day but that's because we were driving home from picking up my kids after not having them for a week, so it was worth it.

Breaking Back

Small update — I’m scrapping Part 2 of the coaster video.

I had just over 2 hours of raw footage and spent more than 3 hours editing, only to run into a storage issue that ended up ruining the first half of the project 😮‍💨

Between the resin not curing in time, losing half the edit, some new health issues, and the rough headspace I've been stuck in lately, I just don’t have it in me to finish the video properly right now. It took a lot just to record it in the first place, and even that came with its own setbacks 🫠

I still plan to finish the coasters this summer so my daughter can give them to her teacher as a very late gift at the start of next school year. When I do, I’ll post a short showing the finished result.

I've been working on the coasters. Video coming tomorrow, the resin is setting up for the night. I need to get them done before my daughter leaves for school in the morning 😬 it's going to be close. I know it's been silent from me but I'll update in the video. Surprise surprise it's health issues 😅

I thought switching from an infusion to an injection would mean no waiting 😫 30 min for it to mix before it's ready I guess... Going to try and make a video today. I'm all resin-ed out, though I have to start on some things for my daughter's birthday party next month...I'll start later 😂 Maybe a Lego build today? Hopefully Cimzia is the one that works 🤞🏼 Have a great day!
