There’s always another goal to chase. But not every moment needs to be rushed.
Somewhere between building, learning, taking risks, and figuring things out, you start appreciating the people and moments that make it all worthwhile.
Still ambitious. Still building.
Just a little more grateful for the ride.

Some moments remind you to slow down.
Some people remind you why you’re grateful.
A few days of reflection, surrounded by family, friends, and the people I’m fortunate to build alongside.
A memory I’ll carry with me.

The longer I build, the less I chase certainty.
Markets change. People change. Plans change.
What matters is knowing what deserves my attention and what doesn’t.
I’ve realized that good decisions rarely come from having all the answers.
They come from having enough clarity to know where to place your bet.

Some people enter your life as friends and slowly become family.
And then, somewhere along the way, they become the people you look up to, learn from, and trust with the biggest decisions.
From conversations as friends to having you as a mentor through the ups, challenges, and everything in between, I’m grateful for the bond we’ve built.
Your guidance has shaped more than just the way I build a business. It has shaped the way I think, lead, and look at what’s possible.
Happy Birthday, Brother.
Here’s to everything you’ve taught me, everything we’ve achieved, and all the heights still left to reach.

From growing up together to building something together, some journeys are bigger than business.
She’s my sister, business partner, and the CA behind the company.
We’ve grown up together, challenged each other, learned together, and now we get to chase bigger goals side by side.
Different strengths. Different perspectives. One shared ambition.
There’s something special about building with someone who has known you long before the business ever existed.
From family to business partners, from shared dreams to new heights.
And honestly, this is just the beginning.

Some people become part of the company. Others become part of the story.
Proud of the ex-Yanisans who’ve been part of the journey, and excited for everyone who’s still to come.

I didn’t build Yanisa alone.
Behind every company is a group of people who believe in the vision, challenge each other, have fun together, and keep showing up when things get difficult.
These are the people building Yanisa with me.
Different personalities. Different strengths. One shared ambition.
From team building and execution to learning, experimenting, and growing together, the journey has always been about the people behind the work.
We’re building an AI-first company, but more importantly, we’re building a team I’m proud to call mine.
This is only the beginning.

I had a conversation with my team today, and it made me rethink what a startup should actually optimise for.
Not headcount.
Not meetings.
Not complexity.
Output.
At Yanisa, we’re trying to build an AI-first company where great people, AI automation, better systems, and faster execution create disproportionate results.
The goal isn’t to build a massive team just because the business is growing.
It’s to build a team that can move faster, learn faster, and create more with less friction.
Because in the next decade, AI won’t just make companies more productive. It will change how companies are built.
That’s the kind of company I’m trying to build.
Which matters more for the future: a bigger team or a better system?

The biggest constraint in business isn't opportunity.
It's the founder's thinking.
Companies scale through better systems, stronger execution, and higher standards not one big breakthrough.
What's the biggest mindset shift that's changed how you build?

Building a company has taught me that growth rarely happens in the moments people see.
It happens in the quiet days. The difficult conversations. The self-doubt. The decisions nobody applauds. And the choice to keep showing up anyway.
Over the years, I’ve realized that success isn’t built in one breakthrough. It’s built through small shifts in how you think, who you surround yourself with, and the standards you refuse to compromise on.
This post isn’t advice.
It’s a collection of lessons I’m still learning as a founder.
If even one of these resonates with where you are in your own journey, then it was worth sharing.
