The time has arrived for UConn Football's season to begin. A dedicated coaching staff with a perfect combination of experience, youth, and achieving success. Coach Candle has a proven record of winning. Actions speak louder than words, and Coach Candle talks, his team's performance handles the rest. Saturday, we start another journey.

Dave Schuman, a force of nature as a former UConn football player, a success story who pioneered camps that every college uses today. One day, combine testing, position drills, then one on ones, 7 on 7, Dave started this before anyone. Nobody works harder and is more creative developing new ways to train kids. When you have been a coach, it never leaves. Coach Schuman runs a travel 7 on 7 league, coaches his son's team, camps working with girls, teaching football, starting a flag league for more opportunities. Dave ran events each week over the summer, as The Speed Doctor, revolutionized cutting edge progressions to increase how fast kids run, and with data, metrics.

I say all of this because as busy as Coach Schuman is, he created the best website for UConn sports, and we will make it our home for UConn Football. We have outstanding Facebook groups helping to keep alumni and fans together. I think we can incorporate our groups and have a home at Husky Hub. This site has it all, news, articles, recruiting information, blogs, message boards, where I write and everyone can participate.

What separates us, is we give BEST coverage and CONTENT, with legendary personalities. Joe D'Ambrosio is by far the greatest broadcaster in Connecticut history, the I.C.O.N. Voice of the Huskies. His knowledge, experience with football, basketball, baseball is unmatched. A special, generational talent, he does play by play, color for UConn Volleyball, SoccHockey. Miraculously, he is on our team, 3 years now, talking UConn Football on Husky Huddle beginning this week.
