We’ve had some pushback on the format of our largest Trance & Old Skool videos and I want to address these points here:
1. Selling tracklists on Buy Me A Coffee.
This explicitly avoids the need to monetise this channel through YouTube. Monetisation brings adverts which interrupt YOUR listening experience and to us @rollonsquare that would be unacceptable.
You can choose to opt in and support our curation and archive work or not.
With YouTube ads you don’t get to choose - you get served ads during an epic carefully curated set - we don’t do that.
2. “It’s not even mixed bro”.
If you are looking for long blended crossfaded mixes I recommend my good friends over at @TranceClassicsOfficial
Who have that down to a tee
BUT
Team @rollonsquare identified a segment of listeners who enjoy the radio edits of these epic tunes and don’t always require a 3 minute blended mix with a 5
Minute middle phase then a 4 minute outro and the numbers of our biggest videos back that up.
The point is we work to bring YOU the music you love and remember in a format that’s a little bit more accessible and suitable for background at work or play.
Again this is opt in or out but again a large number of listeners have responded positively to these formats. So @rollonsquare has found its place in our wonderful scene and community.
So get out there and enjoy the music 🎧 in whatever format you choose and remember this scene was built on inclusivity where there is room for everyone 🙌
