Once again, I lost my streak in Red Lotus and found myself back in Agony III. This time, the streak lasted 273 days — exactly 9 months.
It’s definitely a little disappointing, especially after getting hit by a four-loss streak and finishing Top 11 in the previous Abyss cycle. Looking back, I reached Nirvana six times during those 9 months.
During this period, I also made a lot of videos featuring the character I love the most, Rita. One of the highlights was reaching Top 37 on the SEA server leaderboard with Rita, which is something I’m especially proud of.
Although it’s a little sad to return to Agony III, I think this is actually a pretty reasonable time for me to take a step back. As the PWC keeps getting higher, things have become increasingly difficult for F2P players like me. Over the past few months, I’ve had to give up quite a few of my usual habits, especially collecting outfits, in order to keep up with the meta. I’ve also spent a lot more time tryharding and pushing through the harder Abyss cycles.
So in a way, returning to Agony III gives me a chance to slow down and play the game more on my own terms again — choosing the gachas I actually want, collecting outfits, and focusing more on the characters I truly enjoy.
It also gives me some time to step back, reorganize things in my life, and figure out what I want to focus on next.
Anyway, that’s the end of this 273-day streak. Back to Agony III for now.

## My 564-Day Redlotus Streak Has Finally Ended ##
After more than a year and a half of nonstop tryharding, my Redlotus streak has officially ended at 564 days. This week, I’ve fallen back to Agony, but honestly, that journey will always be one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in Honkai.
Lately, I’ve been focusing more on collecting rather than rolling for meta gear or weapons just for Abyss. Still, I did try pretty hard — just not lucky enough, I guess, after landing in top 4 or top 11 so many times. But looking back, it was truly an unforgettable ride.
Before this streak began, I used to constantly bounce between Redlotus and Agony, climbing up and falling back down. Everything changed when Thelema-sama was released. From that moment, I went on a streak of top 3 finishes and reached Nirvana for the very first time.
From there, I started to truly understand how characters work, boss mechanics, and the little tricks to beat them — learning how to survive even without the right characters or weapons. I managed to reach Nirvana 15 times, and stayed there 4 times — all unforgettable moments for me.
Interestingly, Thelema, the character who started this whole streak, also happens to be the one with the most videos on my channel — including the most viewed Honkai video I’ve ever made. Looking back, my abyss journey kind of coincidentally matched Thelema’s path in the meta:
- During her first year, when she was still strong in the meta, I could play Abyss with ease and enjoy it comfortably. - In the following half-year, as her role gradually faded, I had to try much harder each week. - And now, in this version, I finally couldn’t stay in Redlotus anymore — just around the same time Thelema herself is about to leave the DPS stage.
Maybe the excitement I feel every time I play the Abyss is part of why I love this game so much.
I actually planned to make a short “anniversary” video for it, but… well, no time (and maybe a bit lazy too 😂). So for now, I’ll just drop this post here instead. :)))
