What’s the difference between being rich and being wealthy? Huge.

Being rich can happen overnight. You may inherit money, marry into money, sell a business, close a great deal, or simply get lucky. Rich is often a financial condition.

You know I’m not a philosopher, I’m practical. If you want a number, I would say having 25 times your monthly spending available makes you rich.

Wealthy is something completely different.

Wealth is a mindset. It’s discipline. It’s the ability to make money work for you rather than working your entire life for money. It’s something you build over decades and pass on to the next generation.

Being wealthy is not about how much money you have today. It’s about your habits, your ethics, your ability to save, invest, learn, and think long term.

There are no shortcuts. There is no guru coming to save you. You need to study, work hard, make mistakes, learn from them, and keep going.

If you want another number, I would say that a net worth of at least $1 million combined with a recurring cash flow of $30,000 per month puts you in a position to start building real wealth.

But if you never learned discipline when you were making $1,000 a month, you won’t suddenly become wealthy when you make $30,000 a month.

You may become rich for a month, a year, or even a decade.

Wealthy is different.

Be disciplined. Study. Invest. Think long term.

Your goal should not be to become rich.

Your goal should be to become wealthy.

There is always a limit to my willingness to stay silent when I see political nonsense around the world. This time, however, I genuinely struggle to understand the logic behind it.
This is not just another political decision. It directly affects Italy, and even though I am not particularly interested in politics, this is something that touches me deeply.

Time to rethink an alliance that, too often, seems to benefit one side more than the other, and to strengthen relationships with countries that treat Italy with respect and as an equal partner.

Italy exports around €70 billion per year to the United States, making America one of its largest export markets. At the same time, Italy enjoys a significant trade surplus, exporting far more to the U.S. than it imports.

Perhaps it is time for Italy and Europe to recognize their own strength. Trade, energy policy, military cooperation, and strategic partnerships should always be evaluated through the lens of national interest, not historical habit.

For too long, Europe has looked across the Atlantic for approval. The future belongs to those who have the confidence to build relationships based on mutual respect, reciprocity, and shared interests.

The world is changing. Italy should have the courage and confidence to shape its own destiny.
