Welcome to a different kind of tech channel.
Here, I take IT out of the office and into the real world, one walk at a time. While I’m out with my dogs, I break down complex tech topics into simple, practical insights you can actually use.
NomadicIT helps business leaders understand technology, cybersecurity, AI, networking, conference room design, collaboration platforms, and the strategic decisions that drive modern organizations.
Whether you're a business owner trying to make smarter tech decisions or someone looking to better understand IT without the jargon, this channel is built for you. Occasionally, I go off on tangents. I am not perfect and am not using scripts for my dialogue, unless I specifically say so. I just want to teach, sell, and provide clarity and understanding. I encourage you to ask questions, make comments, and help me understand what you would like to see.

Hey Everyone!
I'm going to be slowing down some of my production for a little while. For the past couple of weeks, I have been helping my wife as she has recovered from surgery. This has given me some time to learn some basic editing as, hopefully, you all have seen. But this has limited my ability to film to a degree and costs additional time to perform editing. As such, I have Season 6 scripted and coming out, but my schedule will delay a bit for a while.
Honestly, dealing with all she has going on is pretty hard. She has MS, as I noted in much earlier videos. After her surgery, a lot of her MS symptoms have been exacerbated, and we are working to get her walking again. Please bear with me as I will be working on Season 6 and posting as I can. It may not take too long to get back on schedule, but I hope you will understand as I also have a regular job, a 9 year old, and now some additional needs that require my attention.
Thank you so much for watching! Stay tuned, stay curious, and as always...
I hope this helps!
Thanks!

What's your opinion on the proposed datacenter bill from AOC? It's a moratorium for building new datacenters. I can tell you that the way it's going to be looked at is: A. it will bring a pause and some help to small communities and people in the areas where there is likely to be large development consuming resources and increasing pollution and B. the argument against is that the US needs the datacenters because they evaluate the risk of having China being able to power ahead and create their better versions, thus creating a potential national security risk.
There is a lot of gray area in between these things and the overall process and systems involved are extremely complex. But, it comes down to a Yes or No vote on this type of bill.
Additionally, I'm going down a bit of a rabbit hole for the next week or so on videos and discussing AI, geopolitics, and quantum computers. If you have any questions you'd like answered or discussed, I'd be happy to flesh out information. Let me know what you think!
As always, I hope this helps!

Hi everyone, welcome to my new YouTube Community! Now you can post on my channel, too. To get started, tell me in a post what you'd like to see next on my channel. I know a lot about a great many subjects, but my favorites are tech, physics (astrophysics, quantum physics, practical physics), politics (though we probably have enough of those channels), and natural sciences.
Some quick stuff about me for those who have questions about my background or who want to know. I have been working in the tech space for about 13 years and sell nationally to hospitals, universities, retail, manufacturing, and any one else who needs something and reaches out. I am married and my wife and I homeschool our son, who is about to be 9, but (full bragging) tests on a 10th grade level in language arts and 6th grade in math. We have 2 dogs, a goldendoodle named Daisy and a Treeing Walker Hound named Daffy, who we rescued and love very much. They are my companions on most of the walks that I do. I'm a former Tennessee firearms instructor and am happy to have conversations about the law, gun rights, and proper shooting techniques. In college, I studied Asian Studies for International Trade, focusing in Chinese language. I speak SOME Mandarin and a little bit more Spanish.
I believe in healthy, kind, civil dialogue and am welcoming to most anyone from any background who has questions. Please let me know what you would like to see or talk about! I'd love to hear from you!
Cheers!
