What was the most confusing thing about getting your first credit card?

I’m curious which parts everyone else somehow understood without being formally taught 😅

If you pay your credit card in full every month and never pay interest…how do you think the bank still makes money from you?

Which credit-card myth did you once believe with all your heart? 😂

Say you have an old credit card that:

✅ has no annual fee
✅ isn’t tempting you to overspend
✅ supplies part of your available credit

What are you doing with it?

Check out some of the consequences in this video about how closing a credit card can impact your credit score! https://youtu.be/w7D7zrsCdfA

Your credit card is maxed out — but the payment isn’t due for another two weeks.
Which consequence would worry you most?

You pay your credit card on time and in full. Then your credit score drops anyway. What’s your immediate reaction?

🔥 Hot take: Klarna’s rigidity can actually be a feature.
Four payments. Then you're done.

A credit card gives you the freedom to carry the same purchase for months, probably accruing interest.

Sometimes “less flexible” is exactly what makes a financial product a better, individual choice for you.

The weird thing about credit cards: the flexibility is both the best* feature and the biggest trap.

Klarna says: 4 payments. Every 2 weeks. Done.
A credit card says: shhhhhh, whenever, don't worry about it (but do worry about it a little bit...)

Which is great right up until a $400 purchase is still hanging around three months later and you're paying interest on it 🫠

*(okay, maybe second best: gotta love those airline points 😂)

You’re at the checkout, buying something for $400, and you can afford it either way. Which are you choosing?

I compared the two properly here — including interest, rewards, credit impact, and the situations where I’d actually choose Klarna: https://youtu.be/Y785fHk-iyU
