Bunya Studio

Hey everyone,

I know I’ve been absent for a while, and I wanted to give you a real update on what’s been going on.

I was recently in an accident that injured my feet quite badly. It made sitting down to work difficult, and I had to make the hard choice to step back and prioritize resting and healing. I felt bad about disappearing without a word, but health had to come first.

The silver lining to that downtime was having the space to reflect on the channel and where I want to take it next. Moving forward, I want this space to be a creative, chill community hub—diving into art, manga, and anime, sharing the process, and just having fun with it.

I’m finally back with clear goals and a lot of renewed focus. To make this feel even more like an actual community, I’ve set up a Discord server where we can all hang out, share our work, and talk: discord.gg/kgEZ4ZrtQ

Also, a little sneak peek for what’s coming next: I finally got a proper camera setup for the upcoming video... which means a face reveal is happening.

Thank you for your patience while I was recovering. Time to level up—see you in the next video!

The 100-day grind is finally uploaded. 🖋️ My first long-form video is officially live. I went from drawing terrible boxes on Day 1 to designing my own manga character. It took a lot of heavy inking and basically broke me, but it's done. Grab a coffee and come watch the process.

Pushing through the learning curve... 🛑

Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in a little while, but I wanted to let you all know that I haven't given up.

I am almost finished editing my first ever long-form video! Transitioning to longer content means learning a ton of new skills that I've never had to handle before. Because of that, the progress has been slow honestly, looking back, I feel like I could have done a whole 30-day challenge just on the editing process alone! 😂

But don't worry, I am working just as hard on this as I did during my 100-day drawing challenge. Thank you all so much for your patience. The first big video is dropping very soon stay tuned! 🤝🔥

4,000 Subscribers.
This is absolutely insane. Thank you to every single one of you for riding with me through the 100-day grind and supporting the art. I never expected this channel to grow this quickly, but your support has been truly remarkable.
We are just getting started. Let's keep building. 🤝🔥

🚨 The Survival Arc is OVER (But Day 99 is paused) 🚨
The workstation is finally back from the repair shop!
I need to spend the rest of today rebooting the system, getting my software reinstalled, and making sure the rig is actually stable. Because of this, there will be no Day 99 upload today.
Please bear with me. We are right at the finish line of this 100-day grind. I could rush a sketch on the iPad just to get a video out, but Day 99 is the lead-up to the grand finale. I want to make it as high-quality and heavy-hitting as possible with the full digital setup.
Give me 24 hours to get the studio running again. Tomorrow, we drop Day 99 the right way. Thank you guys for the patience! 🤝🔥
(Disclaimer, this is not my drawing)

🚨 PC Repair Update + The 100-Day Solution 🚨
Quick update for everyone following the studio disaster! The workstation is officially at the repair shop, but right now, I am still in the dark. I don't know exactly what they will find, the full extent of the water damage, or how long it will actually take to get it back.
But I am done waiting. We are not pausing the 100-Day Challenge.
I have found a solution to keep the momentum going for these final few days. Until the main rig is fixed, I am migrating the entire workflow over to the iPad. It is a different setup, but the heavy manga inks and halftones are not stopping. We are finishing this grind no matter what.
And to prove it... Day 96 is officially LIVE right now! I just dropped the full design for General Adelaide using the new iPad workflow. Go check it out on the channel and let me know in the comments what you think of her design! Thank you guys for sticking with me through the chaos.
The grind never stops. Go watch Day 96! 👇🔥

🚨 We have a massive problem.🚨
I’m going to be completely honest with you guys disaster just struck the studio. While I was in the middle of drawing the highly requested Day 96 panel, I spilled water directly onto my PC. It shorted out, the hardrive is completely gone, and the entire rig has to be sent out for repairs.
We are only five days away from the end of the 100-Day Challenge and the climax of the Elias arc. Because I want to give this story the epic, high-quality digital finale it actually deserves, I am officially pressing PAUSE on the 100-day countdown until the hardware is back and running.
But the grind does not stop. While the workstation is in the shop, we are entering the "Survival Arc." I don't have a lot of traditional tools on hand, but I am going to keep showing up every single day to sketch on real paper with whatever pens I can find. No undo button, no safety net, just raw fundamentals.
Thank you guys for grinding alongside me. We will finish the final 5 days properly soon. Until then... what traditional sketches do you want to see me attempt during the Survival Arc? Drop them below. 👇🖋️. (Not my art and I did not find the creater, if you guys know plz tell me so I can tag it?

I genuinely don't even know what to say. When this daily grind started, the only goal was to force myself to put the pen to the screen every single day and stop making excuses. To look up and see 3,000 of you actively showing up, dropping advice in the comments, and grinding right alongside me is completely surreal.

Thank you to every single person who has watched a video, left a critique, or picked up their own stylus because of this journey. This entire channel is built on putting in the reps, tearing down bad habits, and trusting the process.

We still have a solid stretch left to hit Day 100, and I am putting everything I have into the new long-form videos being built behind the scenes.

I know the new profile picture is absolutely terrifying, but I appreciate all of you more than you know.

Back to the canvas. Let's keep drawing.
