On August 31st, 1986, the Soviet cruise liner Admiral Nakhimov was struck by the freight ship Pyotr Vasev in the Black Sea. She sank in just 7 minutes.
To commemorate this 40th anniversary, I have recreated the sinking in real time, with stunning visuals in Unreal Engine 5. This animation recreates the collision and sinking of the Admiral Nakhimov 40 years later. Watch the video now on the channel!

On August 4, 1991, the Greek cruise liner Oceanos sank in the Indian Ocean off the coast of South Africa in 19 hours. Several key senior officers and staff abandoned the ship early with hundreds of passengers still on board. The entertainment staff went above and beyond to ensure all passengers were safely rescued by South African authorities.This animation recreates the sinking of the Oceanos 35 years later. I want to thank you all so much for the positive reaction to my latest video: The sinking of the Andrea Doria | Animated 70 Years Later. The video has done a first on the channel, surpassing 100,000 in less than 55 hours! I've never had a video on my channel gain this many views in such a short amount of time. Hi everyone.
Tomorrow is the 70th anniversary of a tragic sinking which took place. To commemorate this tragedy I will be releasing my first ever sinking animation powered by Unreal Engine 5. I learned so many new things when making this video and I still have a lot more to learn. But I’m very proud of how it turned out.
I would really appreciate it if you would all join me here tomorrow for the videos release. Your feedback will be invaluable with animations going forward. I’m particularly looking at those of you who already use Unreal Engine and blender. I will leave you with this image. See you all tomorrow

108 years ago. Carpathia, the ship famous for rescuing the survivors ot the Titanic, was torpedoed 3 times by the German U-Boat U-55. There were 223 onboard; 5 were lost.
