It's hard to believe...that my blog is already 5 years old. It's a strange thought that my "word child" is already this old...
In honor of my site's 5th birthday, I thought it was time to freshen up a bit. I have done some “deep cleaning, organizing, and redecorating” to make it a more appealing and easy-to-use space. For all my YouTube subscribers, thank you for your patience as I get back in the groove of making videos. With a new little one, my focus has been on my family.
To be gut level honest, I had a nasty comment on a video a few months ago that really took the wind out of my sails. I just didn't feel like making videos for a long time. Another discouraging factor disheartened me and I just needed a mental break from videos.
But I am learning to rise above unkindness and focus on continuing to serve others. As I am able, I hope to start bringing encouraging content that primarily teaches and inspires. I am not an entertainer, but I hope to help others genuinely grow. If that interests you, then come along!

Hi friends! I hope that you are having a fabulous summer. I have been soaking up time with my family and absorbing the wonder of motherhood. Summer adventures have taken us to state parks, local parks, art camp, and even quiet reading time together on the couch. I wouldn't miss these moments for the world.
In the midst of a full summer, I have enjoyed a few sewing projects. One of those projects was to sew a new curtain for my kitchen sink.
