Founded in 1919, CIMA is now more than 100 years old and is the world's largest professional body of management accountants. Together with the AICPA, it forms the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.

Its CGMA designation focuses on developing finance professionals beyond traditional accounting — covering business, strategy, management, digital skills and leadership.

And for eligible experienced accounting professionals, there are pathways where completing one Strategic Case Study exam can lead towards CIMA membership and the CGMA designation, subject to the applicable programme requirements.

But this evening is not about simply telling you to do another qualification.
It is about asking a much more important question:

“What does it take to move from being a finance professional to becoming a strategic business professional?”

On 16 October in Bangalore, the CIMA team is bringing together CA & CMA professionals for an open conversation around:

→ Why commercial and strategic skills matter
→ How professionals can become more industry-ready
