Zenyazen Escobar, a Morena federal deputy from Veracruz and former Secretary of Education under Governor Cuitláhuac García, was found dead.
His body was discovered inside his vehicle near the community of La Gloria in the municipality of Puente Nacional, a region located between Xalapa, the state capital, and the port of Veracruz.
