Sometimes the thing you desperately want is the very thing God is trying to keep you from.
In 2 Samuel 13, Amnon became consumed with desire for Tamar. He convinced himself he had to have what his flesh wanted—but after committing a terrible act against her, the desire that once consumed him turned into hatred and unleashed devastating consequences throughout David’s household.
In this Prophetic Thursday teaching, we’re examining the danger of allowing lust, fleshly desires, wounds, ambition, and unchecked appetites to lead our lives.
A strong desire does not automatically mean God is leading you.
The fruit eventually reveals the source.
This message will challenge you to discern what is truly leading your relationships, decisions, prophetic words, ministry, and future, and why our deepest satisfaction must ultimately be found in Jesus Christ.
Don’t let your flesh prophesy your future. Learn to walk in the Spirit and recognize the voice of God.
