Today’s network started in 1846 with the Leeds and Bradford Railway linking the two historic cities, and extending through the industrious hills to Skipton the following year, forming what is now known as the Airedale Line. The Midland Railway and the North Eastern co-owned the 1860s-built line to Ilkley, which would eventually form part of the Wharfedale Line. They have come a long way since, with the combined network being one of the busiest outside of the South East. In Train Sim World 7, become a driver or conductor aboard Northern services across the West Yorkshire Metro.
