Voices from the Void is Aether Circuit’s second album—a retrofuturistic journey across the Solar System, from the electric sparks of Mercury to the final fading signals of the Kuiper Belt. Aether Circuit discovered thirteen unidentified space transmissions hidden in the memory of the mainframe. When Lyra Vale, Nova Seraph and Caelum Vector transformed them into music, voices began to emerge—as though the planets, moons and distant regions of the Solar System were trying to tell their own stories. The album combines late-1980s retrofuturistic synth-rock, melodic electronic space music, analogue arpeggios, FM synthesis, cinematic soundscapes and extended synthesizer and flute solos. Lyra Vale gives distant worlds a warm, ethereal voice. Nova Seraph transforms cosmic signals into melodies, flute solos and virtuosic synthesizer passages.
