So... this is super random, but my wife entered us into this America's Favorite Couple competition lol. Jeff Goldblum is hosting, she's a fan of him, it's all based on votes, and she just kinda did it for fun thinking it wouldn't go anywhere. Turns out we made it through a few rounds, but we are now where we have to put the word out to get enough votes for the next stage, and she thinks it's unlikely we'll make it past this round.
Thought it'd be a nice surprise for her if, in the final 24 hours of this stage of the competition, we managed to get our ranking up to at least Top 5 to get us into the next stage. Voting is free, and for those who want their votes to count for more, you can give money to charity to support some good causes. There is no pressure whatsoever, we are cool if nothing comes of it, just thought I'd throw this out there to see what might happen. If it has the potential to pleasantly surprise my wife and brighten her day, figured it was worth giving it a go.
