So turns out the text "not actual gameplay" was there in CD Projekt's upload of the Witcher 4 tech demo. It wasn't there during the State of Unreal Event for some reason, but that notice was disclosed early and was more prominently featured than I initially thought, which is why I took down the recent video. I'm still not a big fan of tech demo style marketing, as it's bound to hype people up with potentially unrealistic expectations. Some people look at footage that resembles gameplay and assume that's how it will be in the final game. I just hope the masses really understand that the final game may not fully realize what a contained condensed vertical slice tech demo can practically accomplish.
