A heartwarming story:
Today, the boatmen of Gajoldoba, Jalpaiguri, have once again made history.
They rescued a five-day-old elephant calf that was being swept away by the Teesta River!
It even managed to return to its mother.
But thanks to the efforts of boatmen like Bablu Das and Ajay Das, along with the Forest Department, this calf found its mother and herd, and returned to the wild!
A salute to these five heroes.
