✨ French Knot ✨
A small but beautiful detail in embroidery. In Norwegian bunads it is often used as the center of flowers, berries, or small decorative dots.
🔸 Use: adds life to flowers, leaves, and patterns.
🔸 Technique: Bring the needle up, wrap the thread 2–3 times around the needle, insert it back down right next to the entry point (not in the same hole), and pull gently through.
🔸 Tip: more wraps give a larger “pearl.”
🌸 Small stitches – big effect!
