In August of 1965 a mysterious object was seen in the night skies across the American South West. From the Mojave to Texas, thousands of people reported the UFO. Transcript: In the summer of 1965 a strange unidentified aerial object, described as a bright light within a cloud of glowing mist was reported by thousands of people across the Mojave Desert and down into Texas and Oklahoma. The only actual photographs we have of the object is this night time shot by a newsman and police officer in Texas - it doesn't show much but does show how close they were as the object flew over them. Even more interesting ie that some witnesses said they saw a structured craft within the mist - this drawing was done by an Air Force weather observer over in Oklahoma showing the object - and was later also reported by persons in other states. Even though it was documented by trained Air Force and law enforcement personal the object has never been identified. It's only claim to fame is that the newspapers of time said it had been seen by QUOTE - "Thousands of people".
